Am I the only one?

Am I the only one that feels a very empty stomach is necessary for a better, cleaner, and more comfortable effect with most drugs I take by mouth? Opiates, however, I feel fine taking on a stomach, empty or full. And, I detest eating on amphetamines - it is one of the most disgusting things, which I only do where socially expected, and even then I cannot eat much; this, though, is quite universal amongst the amphetamine aficionados, I would strongly suspect.

Am I the only one who really feels there is no point, and a bit of waste, in insufflating oxycodone? Oxycodone, as has been agreed upon, has a slightly higher bioavailability via oral ingestion; and, I quite like the more wonderfully insidious onset of action when an opiate is taken by mouth. Heroin is a different story, and I prefer insufflation for obvious reasons. I like a good opiate rush, but I feel most anyone else who uses opiates with regularity thinks the rush is the best part or a part for which the needle soon becomes commonplace. I like the high - the stretch of it - the onset, the peak, the plateau, and the comedown is even gentle, not that I like it.

Oh yeah, oral oxycodone works best, but some feel that a faster onset means better bioavailability, which isn't true. I've been snorting heroin here and there to cut back on my IV use but despite the inability to eat on amphetamines, try to force something down. Best thing to do is a fruit smoothie with yogurt, at least for me because drinking is no problem on amp/mamp, but eating is out of the question, with the exception of fruits. When you start getting a tolerance to amp/mamp though, you'd be able to scarf down hot dogs and steak dinners, but I don't ever recommend getting that far with amp/mamp use
 
Carl: I thought this thread was for us to find out that we weren't the only ones doing weird shit!

For example: am I the only one who has dropped a glass pipe three times on concrete and not have it break?
 
No my friend you are not alone. it may be roach weed BUT all that resin would be such a waste don't ya think?.
 
Am I the only one that believes that although cannabis is a great drug for therapy and recreation, there are so many other drugs just as great in their own rite?

Am I the only one that believes in total legalization of all drugs, for one ought to be free to do what he pleases - free to make those choices, free to sip his cup of tea and float his boat?

Am I the only one that feels the opiate is the ultimate substance capable of bringing forth ecstatic contentment of mind and body?

Am I the only one that can see addiction is never the same from substance to substance, from person to person? Am I the only one that believes there is no such thing as addiction to food, gambling, sex, etc.? Am I the only one that can see a flaw as wide as the Atlantic in the basic tenants of AA and NA (not to say it cannot help some with success, but rather to say that it could never help everyone with success)? Am I the only one who believes that an addict is not, necessarily, always going to be an addict?

Am I the only who sees a future of a whole hell of a lot more heroin, and very few pharmaceutical opioids, except buprenorphine, which will also become more and more popular.
 
yes, you are the only DRUG ADDICT who believes in the total legalization of drugs, lol

youre more likely to be the only one who DOESNT believe in the total legalization of drugs.
 
No roach weed since I only vape these days but I do have a jar of AVB (already vaped bud) that's disgusting to smoke but great to put in gel caps for a rainy day or a nice additional sleep aid.
 
Am I the only one who takes xanax sublingually for faster onset? It's the god awful WORST tatsting med out there, but I do it anyway. I've also thought about plugging, but not sure how the effects of that would fare (such as would it cause about 100% absorption as opposed to losing any taking it orally?
