I don't really rate DHC. Find codeine most superior in every respect, except for strength per milligram.

In terms of the actual buzz, codeine, for me, blows DHC out of the water.
 
I love it, but only once in a while at high doses, so I can get the whole drifting in and out thing that no amount of codeine will give me. I always have it with a little codeine though as it does miss the initial buzz.

Codeine is my regular thing though.

I dunno, I get most of the same subjective effects from DHC, but it's just missing the "fun" if that makes sense?
 
I've had DHC all of a couple of times and found it a lot more floaty and stuff at lower doses than codeine would give me, never really had chance to try it out further than random mates giving me a few tablets and could never be arsed spending the extra money on the extraction when I was big into my codeine. Now, though...

Also I hear DHC is best plugged but how the hell do you get the dose up your arse? I tried once and the resultant liquid was far too much to bumsmuggle. Can you evaporate it off? Do I need a bigger syringe? Do I need a bigger arse?

Haha, a bigger arse would do it! I think you're only meant to plug a couple of millilitres, so a CWE solution wouldn't really be suitable. Evaporating the liquid down should work. It'll take forever though...

DHC pills can be obtained fairly easily if one knows where to look... (not the darknet)
 
Evaporating down! Will try that if I've got time, got a week off coming up and not been able to touch anything codeine-y for a while so tis that or the linctus
 
I used to find the initial dhc buzz very stimulating, but not so much now. It's still got a lovely come up though.

I find it very fun, especially mixed with alcohol (be careful and all that) which really brings it on, whereas alcohol acts against codeine. Its just a bit more of a heavy, stoned high.

It's also about tolerance really. After 600mg of codeine, it's not really worth upping the dose, and that just gives me a mild background buzz these days. I need to use DHC to have a heavy one.

The other thing is the duration -it's nice to wake up the next day still wrapped in opiates (though it can be hard to sleep on it and I get sleep paralysis, nightmares etc.) Codeine is a flash in the pan by comparison.

It's OTC by the way, so if you're any cop at extracting, I wouldn't pay the exorbitant prices elsewhere.
 
Be interested to try a couple beers with DHC, as with codeine I've found it not worth it, even with a really high (at the time) alcohol and codeine tolerance. Longer duration is probably gonna tip the balance toward getting that next week, I often find with codeine I'm too aware of how quickly it wears off to properly enjoy it.

Fairly fucked again with just two beers and a spliff, really need to break out something more interesting soon

Having plugged a few doses, allow me to inform you, there is no pain / burning / stinging whatsoever. Same with Ethylphenidate, was a complete bitch to snort, but up the poop shoot, pretty damn smooth.

Ah the days when i was on 400mg a day :| Shit escalated so quickly.

I remember taking 600mg+ of dhc when I was on gear and not feeling anything at all, that was so depressing.

Currently on day 3 of a 3fpm binge and have just received another 5g :D

I've now reached that state of timeless euphoria with eyes like saucers and a head full of cotton wool, and am totally stuck in a loop. I've done fuck all today except play early 70s Rolling Stones country blues tracks on my guitar. My fingers are blistered and sore, my kids are ready to commit murder and every time I put it down I pick it up again 2 minutes later. Having now been told in no uncertain terms "if you touch that fuckin guitar again its going up yer arse fat end first..", I am now singing the guitar parts out loud, complete with effects and bottleneck. I just can't stop - I've even put the foil away to concentrate on my fixation. If you guys don't get me out of here soon my arms will be worn down to bloody stumps and I'll have a Gibson acoustic copy entering my arse and exiting from my mouth!

These metabolites I hear about - are they likely to prolong the experience even longer with every redose?

I meant to play some guitar today, but i just ended up wanking a few times and then doing hours of intensive cleaning. Priorities.

I've no idea of the duration of one dose, but I believe it has a half life of 30 - 40 hours so with constant redosing (vaping is very compulsive) they all stack up and after a day or so the metabolites kick in as well, sending you into a kind of Zen like blissed out state and with a tendency to fixate on shit - usually porn, but I'm pretty fuckin empty now so the guitar got it instead :)

I started playing nearly 40 years ago now, but have had several breaks lasting years where I just never picked it up. Funnily enough, these breaks coincided with my heroin and methadone habits....

Having recently sacked opiates after a 20 year affair, I've suddenly got the urge to play again, which I'm glad about because I thought I'd lost it permanently. So I'm now in the process of relearning and training my fingers to do gymnastics on what feels like cheesewire...

Heh likewise - I used to practice / write songs 24/7 - completely motivated all the time - then I found hard drugs - and playing on opiates and benzos just wasn't the same - I'd just end up staring at them and never play them - or if i did try i wouldn't feel inspired whatsoever and think i've just lost it completely too, or resent the guitar even existing...

Now 2 years later - it's slowly coming back - been writing loads - recording ideas constantly. Strange as when i first got into opiates I'd convinced myself I was being more creative and finding it easier to express myself - but soon all i was expressing was woe is me shit.

Strange these things.

I can definitely notice I'm nowwhere near as dextrous with my fingers as I was 10 years ago though :/ dammit!

In terms of creativity I think the best thing you can do is play with as many different people as possible - learn to adapt to their styles and you'll have to start thinking of playing things you would never ordinarily consider. Helps so much jamming with others!

I don't find it to be particularly functional in the way amphetamine is as there's a tendency to 'zone out' for periods losing all sense of reality, but in a pleasant way. This probably is due to sleep depravation as much as anything, but I find going without sleep and food much easier on this stuff than on amphetamine as it doesn't burn you out in the same way. I also find that sleep is possible if you can stop wanking/shagging/trawling xhamster for long enough, so I don't find benzos necessary. It also mixes well with a bit of booze and weed, if you can be arsed. I usually find I desire nothing except more 3fpm - my drinking and smoking drops to insignificant levels when 'threed up'.

Yeh, I've played in a few bands and done gigs in the past playing rhythm and lead - I even got paid for some of them! But I realised a long time ago what I'm not cut out to be an axe hero and this, coupled with my addictions, made me lose interest in playing to the extent where I couldn't physically pick my guitar up as it felt like an alien object. But now I've sacked the gear, my old self is starting to come back and I've got a lot of lost time to make up for. I've actually been playing everyday for some weeks now and it was 3fpm which gave me the motivation to start again. The only problem is that while I'm on it, working out fiddly bits comes quite easily and my guitar sounds fantastic. But when I come down, I forget it all again...
 
Perhaps something to do with state-dependant memory?

I suppose the solution would be to spend more time doing it sober and it'll retain more - however I think as long as you just build up the muscle memory you'll be able to do it just as well no matter what you're on. Do you write your own stuff? Or play along with songs? What kind of genre? The old prog psyche stuff?

It's a great hobby to have - surprising amount of joy and self-worth to be gained from knowing you're improving and can do something a lot of other people can't. It's a sweet skill to have :)

Do any singing? I also play drums.

Ah cool re: comedown - I'll smoke some weed and have a bit of benzos - i don't feel wired to the point of sweating + heart palpitations +constant jaw movement anymore, but my mind is still able to churn out tediously long posts on BL still and feel a bit shaky.

2 absolutely pervy deviant wanks were already had. I think i'm good now... :)
 
Having a break from sobriety to celebrate mine and Dan's 10 month anniversary (;)) with some crystal meth and two thirds of a bottle of cheapish wine. Would have prefered some cocaine and cava but too bad I'm poor nowadays. Still feeling a bit sad for various reasons but not as bad as this morning. Answer is getting more fucked I think :p
 
Ah have a good 'un, ten months is a fair whack ;) Cocaine and Cava does have a better ring to it mind but hey ho doesn't sound like a bad night at all!
 
Chip, I sing, write songs, play in bands that perform on stage...no wait...sorry, that was 25 years ago. Carry on. Never could find a decent drummer.

FUBZ, depends what you mean by functional. I went to work on it several times. Only fucked up majorly the once like. :|
