It could be one of the two either some really really hot jamaican jerked food i had the day before or some kava i took the next day.

It isnt just in the stomach like i thought it feels like something is pinching down by the stomach but also both sides on either hip. Would this happen from a enflamed liver?

Im starting to get concerned now cos ive never felt something like this before and i thought it was starting to go away but i took another 2 grams of kava again yesterday to test and it made the symptoms come back!

Im not gonna say its definitely the kava but the only things different in my diet since last week are the kava and eating a super hot meal through the day before I had it. Id like to believe it was just the food but its lasted for nearly a week now so wondering how it would cause that.

It did cause some extreme reaction on the day though my whole body was burning even my eyes and I was mildly sweating for hours after I ate it.

It could be an unfortunate combination of both in that the hot food ruptured something causing some reaction and the kava exasperated it with the bits of root matter. I dont use a stocking just a tea strainer so quite a few bigger bits get through. Never been a problem before but maybe if my stomach was already upset it just made it worse.

Any ideas what this could be?

In terms of anatomy tho what organs lie just right at the crease of either hip and rib-bone? Only the liver right? or intestines as well? its hard to get a read on wtf is going on down there.

Ive been taking a spoon of sodium bicarbonate now and then and it seems to hlep if that offers any clues. Seems to really quell things when I make some big burps, altho im not especcially gassy, no more than normal but burping seems to offer relief.

Kava makes my stomach queezy for a while its prob that , I highly doubt its your liver

No not queezy. Ive had that too I know what you mean. Definitely not that. Its a persisting pinching feeling and lasted for days and days now not jsut a few hours after taking the kava.

Im gonna go on a very bland food diet for a week or so.

I don't know anything about exactly what it could be but it could be gastritis from the combo of Kava and the spicy food.

I got gastritis after taking meloxicam a year ago for a while and I'm only now just getting over it and at the time all spicy food or alcohol bothered me.

I think that it's possible to get gastritis from any combo of just too much of any kind of food, drink or drug that does a number on your stomach.

Just sounds like a combo of the two beat up your insides lol.

Try taking a proton pump inhibitor like Prilosec/Omneprazole or Pepcid AC (preferably the former as I think that might be better and is what I was prescribed and taking for a year for my gastritis) and I'd suggest avoiding all acidic or spicy food, overly salty food or anything too hard on the stomach like Kava, Kratom, Alcohol, coffee etc.

Eat bland food or if not necessarily bland just nothing spicy, no tomatoes or peppers, etc and maybe eat some fermented food like Yogurt etc although some also say to avoid dairy so if dairy bothers you avoid that as well and probably eat a lot of fiber and fibrous vegetables and fruits and drink a lot of water.

Thanks.

Ye that sounds like it might be it reading up.

Well now I dont know if i want to avoid my kratom! :D it didnt interefere too much the other day when i took it.

Seems a bit better today. Ill avoid kratom if i have to but i will try and get away with taking it 1st :)
