xanax hinders opiate euphoria?

I recently got my hands on a few 1mg Xanax that i gave back because they weren't for Me and have some 10/325 hydro's left over from a previous accident that I save for rainy days. I have noticed that xanax absolutely, no doubt about it wastes that warm fuzzy feeling. How long in between the two can you wait to take an opiate to feel that euphoria that everyone loves? And I have read on previous posts that this happens to a lot of people but no one says how long to wait without wasting precious medication.

Ok here's the deal benzos can dull out the euphoria of opiates sometimes, other times not. If you take a low dose it shouldn't mess with it that much, for instance only .5mg .
Also how long to wait? Um not that long, say you take low dose xanax 2-3 hours later you should be able to take the hydro and feel fine. I sometimes like the combination because the mix makes you feel extra sedated and noddy. Be-careful though, opiate and benzo mix has taken out lots of people.

Yes indeed I agree it can. I just prefer the euphoria from opies more than just a numb nod feeling. Different strokes for different folks. I try to stay away from high benzo doses because I find myself mixing it with shot of liquor and wake up in the afternoon with calls on the phone to random hot girls on fb ive never met and no recollection of what I was even thinking or doing. I like to remember my experiences, unless I'm just super down in my luck lol then I use them for sleep to totally escape. Although in lower doses by themselves my social anxiety goes away and I feel like a normal person. More of a crutch for me than a recreational drug. I just wanted to know a time frame so I'm not wasting my time.
