SNOO V8 - In the bathroom smashing glasses

Fix'd. And my apologies for unimaginative use of squirrel imagery - i'll get back to you when better rested.

You do.

*kisses his good lady sadie's small, cute, gorgeous, jewish nowse*

<3

You always kiss my nowse.

Can you keep doing that forever?

And a day???

They're making a remake to Final Fantasy 7, which I am far too happy about <3

If it's shit I'll cry but I already have release day planned out. Bottle of gin, couple bags of weed, and no one is allowed to speak to me for the duration unless it's about how amazing the game is.

My three year old is taking his first ever pus-filled-wound like a champ.

Fuck knows what happened him, probably a thorn or an insect while he's out playing in the bush, but yesterday he had a big pulsating green and red welt on his forearm and didn't cry when mom squeezed a ton of pus, fluid and blood from it and iodined the crap out of it.

Even drank down a shot glass of amoxycillin in water without whining. Good kid.

My snoo is getting home from work after a 100% sleepless night filled with CEVs that were more like delirious scenarios. Reminded me of abusing diphenhydramine.

My head was splitting all day but just got home, had a lovely hot meal, and the headache has lessened. I'm now going to get stoned to see if I will stay up for a few hours or just go to sleep now. So long as there's sleep.

Hated having to harvest spells, initially, but I got over it quite quickly and it's certainly in my top 3 Final Fantasy games. I bought it on Steam last year but just never played through again.

EDIT: Just realised I was thinking of VIII

Off to Brighton for day trip and a dinner I don't have to pay for as it's my step dad's birthday. Hope it gets a bit warmer, I'm wearing a very short playsuit and it's getting slightly err... breezy right now.

Another snoo is how skinny I'm looking at the moment, hadn't really noticed till now. Excellent. Good excuse to stuff my face with pizza.

Hopefully tomorrow will be even better as well but I have a horrible feeling I'm going to be let down again. Sigh. One day at a time.

Brilliant news, that game brings back some fond memories

Innit just? I love that game so so much, terrible translation and all.

VIII is brilliant tho loses me a bit in the 4th disc where everything goes all WTF, but damned if I didn't love the setting, the music, the world map, and that card game. Tbh all of the games from 4 til 10 are pretty great and 1, 2, and 12 were alright too. Drawing spells in VIII was a fucker tho esp if you junctioned them to a stat then used em all anyway

Final Fantasy X was actually the first that I played and it was the second most emotional journey that a game has ever put me through haha (the first is Ocarina of Time). I have played some of the newer FF games and didn't think too much of them. I've another laptop loaded with emulators so I've worked my way through a lot of the titles I played as a young'un again. It's amazing how much they achieved, with so little.

Great story telling, great soundtracks!

Gah! I know I'm going to have to play through Ocarina of Time again now :D

FFX was a good 'un, never actually finished it tho, got stuck on the big floating bastard that kills you after so many turns and had my mate show me the end years later. Debating getting the HD remake of it but my PS4 game buying quote has been filled this month already. The older ones are great tho, real love for 2D RPGs just cos of how much they had to put into gameplay and story. And yeah, the soundtracks <3 With you on Ocarina as well, need to rob my sister's N64 next time I'm at me parents.

First played FF7, then FF8, havent played anymore of them. i hope the gameplay is gonna be turnbased like the original

I'm ecstatic over this. FF7 is my favourite piece of media of all time. I saw the PS3 demo of FF7 remake and wished it was true, and was left so disappointed. But now, they are doing it. I was nearly crying when I heard of this.

/extreme nerdiness

My copy of FF7 was scratched on the final disc (can't remember how many discs there were - whichever the last one was) so I mostly remember getting really into it for days and then getting stuck in... nup, can't remember the actual scene (think it was a prison or summat?) and the thing just crashing endlessly after that. Was most annoyed :!

Can we agree that cloud, at every point in the narrative, was a fucking bellend? It was all a bit infra dig to be made to help him achieve anything whatsoever.

I might have teared up a tiny wee bit...

And yeah Cloud could be a bellend but he is like a thousand times better in FF7 than in any of the spin-offs since, good god they made him emo as hell. Pretty sure I know which bit ya mean Shambles, is fairly near the end as well :(

Non-geeky snoo: Working on a new site today. It's by the docks and there are deer and stuff and it's actually clean and nice which is insane for building sites round here it seems.

Just the other night, a door handle in the bogs bathroom facilities at work failed. And although we share an estate with the construction firm that actually built our office building, getting anything out of them beyond a vague promise to get somebody to have a look in the warehouse and ring back tends to be a bit fraught. Such is the nature of the construction industry, I guess.

Fortunately, I found a suitable replacement on the Internet, and I happen to live almost just across the road from a Screwfix trade counter. Or Snoofix, as I'm going to call them from now on. When I opened the package (yes, as soon as I got out into the fresh air; patience is something that happens to other people) to check whether all mounting hardware was included (it is -- plus a pair of long bolts for fixing through a door, with another handle or a fingerplate on the opposite side to conceal the holes) but there were actually two identical handles in the box! So, we have a spare for when the next one breaks. (Looking at the remains, someone must have had the torque turned up way too high and overstressed the plastic mounting bosses, so it's a race against time.)

There was all manner of glorious stuff on display there, too. It's a good job I was under obligation to get a receipt showing nothing but the items I was authorised to purchase .....
