Yes, I've noticed it in Morrison's and asda as well. It's got fuck all to do with harm reduction, they just don't want junkies digging in their bogs. In fact it's likely to cause more harm because anyone desperate enough to bang up in public toilets isn't gonna give a shit if they can see or not - cue more missed shots, abcesses etc. It's another case of the NIMBYs...
 
Well kids go in public toilets. If a dirty needle is left n a child touches it or gets it in them they may become ill if an addict has, say hep c.

Didn't get the job I had the interview for, but she said my interview was fantastic and it was simply the fact ankther person had telesales exp so she's shortlisted me for any jobs that come up. I'll just keep applying for everything lol.

Yeah, really don't be gutted about not being in telesales or anything almost completely telephony based. I did it for too long. I was on the 4th floor and if we only had a few more stories, I'd have flung myself from the atrium balcony on many an occasion.

Luckily, they can't dictate (even though you contractually agree that they can) to you just how long it should take you to shit; Plenty of time for crying in the toilets.

It is soul destroying. Unless you're one of those gobshites that actually like the job. Lying pig bastards.

Pffft. We had no netting. Just shows how much more the ruthless Chinese overlords care about their drone workers than British retail banks. No surprise though, they do put the customer first. Free fucking net and a thinning piece of blue rope for every new current account customer.

Call centre staff are just as replaceable as factory workers though. The staff turnover rates in those places are unreal. Usually because, once you've moved a wee bit up the pay-scale, they announce that they're downsizing in August and then hold a recruitment drive in October, just in time for their office team Movember bullshit.

Fuck Movember! Some of us adult men can't grow more than a Belfast tash.

I actually shaved my..beard..just a few days before the end of October one year so that nobody thought I was taking part.

Octobeard would be much more convenient for me.

If I was employable.

I know from tales that it's shit but it would've been better than the hellish job I have. Hopefully I'll get the animal job because omg animals to look at in work!

for the interview on Friday, I need to dress pretty and wear makeup or it'll be an instant no. Who cares about the 7 years I've worked there if I don't look good enough to be there 30 hours when I'm already in 30+.
 
In some of these factories they make workers sign a disclaimer saying that they will not kill themselves.

I can't bear the thought of spending all day doing smoething monotonous and meaningless.

Yes, that is the Foxcomm factory where all the Apple shite is made by Chinese workers for a bowl of rice a day and a cramped place in a dorm without sufficient toilets or fire escapes. Now the poor bastards can't even kill themselves....
 
Yeah capitalism with asian values.

One day we will probably all be kept in pods doped up with happy pills, shipped off to the amazon factory every day to put boxes into robots.
