Kratom + hydrocodone

I was wondering if anyone had an experience with this. I heard that if you take Kratom first, followed by the hydros after about an hour or so +, you won't feel the effects of the hydros. Almost as if the Kratom cancels it out or blocks it like suboxone does. However if you take the hydros first followed by the Kratom, you will feel the effects of both. If one does take Kratom first, how long should they wait to ingest to hydros to feel their full effect? (Approximately) For example started out taking 7 g of Kratom and they came across some hydros later on that day.

This seems to be a fairly common phenomenon, I've actually made several posts about it but never have I got a satisfying answer, only something along the lines of "not all people find the stimulant aspects of kratom euphoric, this may detract from the euphoria of the hydro". I don't buy that, not only do I find kratom euphoric but there seems to be a cancelation effect of both, a very muted high with little activity from both drugs. I'm not exactly sure I buy the theory that it's a result of corynantheidine either (a mu antagonist) as the general consensus is that it's present in such small amounts that it shouldn't play much of an effect. This of course makes sense being that kratom doesn't precipitate withdrawal in addicts. People wouldn't find success using kratom to kick their habits if this wasn't the case.

Anywho, my only suggestion is to avoid actively taking these combos in general. Even when spaced properly I tend to get a 1+1=1.5 effect, never potentiation. The only drug I've found to have a pleasant synergy with kratom is tramadol, for the most part others typically don't contribute much to their effects (and may even detract). On the other hand there are some people who report success upon mixing kratom with opioids so I'm not sure what to make of it. What I do know is that you're not alone and I've dug up many reports of this same type of thing occuring. In the case of your last sentence/theoretical situation, I would wait 4-6 hours (or whenever the kratom has ran it's course) before taking opioids. As a kratom addict who also indulges in other opioids rather frequently I've not had any real issues doing this as far as cancelation goes.

I don't know about this interaction but kratom gives me a bad case of nausea. my first time taking it, I projectile vomited about 4 times. The nausea reduces with each use, but to combine these two things would be gastrointestinal suicide IMO

Not everyone gets nausea from kratom. I've never had nausea issues combining kratom with opioids. Sounds like you're dosing way too high, an ideal dose of kratom is one that produces little nausea. This means that it's vital for a lot of people to scale out their dose.

I take Kratom almost daily and am physically dependent on it, technically. For me, I don't even bother with taking dones or even oxy anymore bc when I'm on kratom for extended periods of time, it feels a lot like Sboxone effect.
But...I was an IV heroin addict up until 9 mos ago, hence my love of kratom
