FG & Englandz update?

Two of our fellow buccaneers have been in the mire (I have no knowledge of Engz as the thread got changed so don't know what state he was in when he last posted) if your both able to post can you let us know yer safe or if anyone has any non-confidential news can they pass it on?

nice one mate yeah i am still here mental health is starting to suffer because of it but that's just something iv got to get through not round much as the wifi is only in the pub part of the place i am staying and i cant just sit in there with out a drink

right going to get my dinner pop back in a while
 
well your sounding a bit more upbeat my friend - you know life is an adventure and good and bad things can happen in an instance or take years to develop, thats one of the wonders that keeps me going - time and quantum theory is also a very interesting place to view life, paralell universes (if you had got up five minutes later your whole life from that moment would be different, cause and effect, ones and zeros forks in the road.....so hang in mate you never know the ride might turn out most unexpectably :)

well i am now entering my second week clean of all drugs and this is where the fun will really begin

i know i sound more up beat but it is a bit of a facade at the moment still very lonely and missing charlie like mad plus my mental health is starting to slip a little with the damn voices coming back in a bad way
 
When i was in treatment we use to call it riding the pink fluffy cloud - after being free of all drugs/booze for a few weeks you start feeling super great, proper natural high. You will get Charlie back so dont worry about that - as for the voices, you needs med's, I don't know your history and won't pry but if you have been prscribed stuff in the past get it sorted - deal with the things that you have controll over it gives you back your power and the more powerful you get the greater controll that comes with it - life is simple we make it complicated. Take it easy (my first 'hit' single - 2nd in the dance charts : ).. and find time to free your soul.

cheers i am not any meds as they wont give me any because ive still got to get evaluated
 
...well concentrate on getting that done, keep your mind busy doing positive things - did they give you a date for evaluation? it would seem to me if your having the sort of symtoms described you should be an urgent case so get in touch M.H Team or whoever deals with it and let them know how things are for youTis a shame your so far away and have no one to help but I think your strong enough to battle on and put yer demons behind you.

Sometimes people, myself included, just don't want to bother with the internet for a bit. He's quite probably fine.
 
F.I.N.E =FUCKED UP,INSECURE, NEUROTIC and EMOTIONAL..;) It's just very out of charater esp as lots of folk have emailed as well - I'm in the dark as i never saw the original post and typing lessons is a mystery to me.

= Opportunity to be properly assessed for any mental health issues cos (as you will have discovered the hard way) you have to have a period of time away from drugs before any assessment is even considered. Without getting into discussions of what exactly constitutes "drug free" for the medical profession, the underlying FACT! remains that you are now very much in the qualifying zone where there's a reasonably chance of being properly assessed and actually useful help (of whatever form) could very well be forthcoming. Try to speak with your GP/get a referral while you have the opportunity would be my advice.

Seconded. Or, if public posting is not a goer right now, maybe a quick response to any of the emails/PMs folk have sent if you can - would certainly put many minds to rest to know you are "okay" in at least the broadest sense of the word <3
 
Are you eating ok Mr Gold and getting somewhere to do your laundry, hygiene things etc? <3

I'm not sure how I can help apart from thinking and wishing the best for you x

yeah ive got all that stuff the is a shower and laundry at next steps i can use and a shower in the room ive been placed in for now

always loved that band Pandora box set back for 93 was one of the best buy ive made

right doing ok today roll on tomorrow when i get paid and finally get on the homeless register
 
Nice that you have the basics sorted FG, so much easier to manage with a roof over your head.

Would be nice to hear from Englandz also
 
i nsaw them at donnington in 94 same age as you when you saw them :)

just been to my second drug counselling session with the new lot that went well starting to get somewhere now i hope
