Stopping my daily weed habit today (average 0.5g a day for 5 years)
I know this probably belongs in a more appropriate subforum but thought I'd post here anyway this is my go-to place for stuff like this.
Anyone got any tips on how to cope with the insomnia and general mental discomfort? I have some valerian root and hops tea, which I'll try tonight. In the past I've used small amounts of alcohol to help sleep when ive (tried to) quit in the past (really not a fan of booze so not concerned about swapping habits) however it's just given me an excuse to get stoned by lowering inhibition.
Fed up of weed. Worsens (and was probably the cause of) my anxiety, estranges me from friends n family, costs a bomb, and my memory is rubbish.
Any advice other than just don't smoke it? Also im aware of how easy it is to quit compared to benzos/opiates, and the irony of my username, but help would be appreciated.
