Well it was my friends birthday so throughout the day we smoked a couple bowls of crystal, snorted about 4 lines of H, smoked 3 bowls of good kush, and drank about 4beers. By the end of the night my body looked like it was turning yellow and i got very woozy. Just wanted to know which of these exactly caused that reaction? And why? Is it some sort of nutrition deficiency?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but turning yellow is an almost universal sign of liver dysfunction. Medically, the condition of yellow skin and eyes is known as jaundice.

Do you have a physician that you can see, preferably a primary care MD? You don't need to tell them about your drug use, but keep in mind if you come up positive for something like hepatitis c, the known causes are "limited" if you catch my drift.

Agree with Keif, you should see a doctor and get your liver enzymes checked. I found out last year that I have hep c and after that I had to come clean to my doctor about my previous iv drug use. (She already knew about my alcoholism) But my skin/eyes have never turned yellow so this incident must have been frightening for you. There's no way we can tell exactly what caused this though. We can only guess so you need to get checked asap!

+1 You will need to see a dr asap. Are the whites of your eyes yellow as well? Are you a big drinker?

I got jaundice once when i was maybe i dunno 20 years old. I was a total alcoholic and had that point been blind drunk for days. I woke up puking one morning as usual and noticed that along with looking like shit my eyes had a yellowish look to them. That scared the shit out of me but unfortunately it was a few years yet before i stopped drinking. I had liver tests done and it came back fine so it must have been a passing phase.

Definitely go see your doctor asap and get your liver checked just in case it is serious.

A blocked bile duct can also cause liver enzymes to elevate. Do you have gallbladder issues?

As everyone else advised, get that liver checked.

The H and booze is enough to hammer your poor liver. The H is very bad on the liver. Jaundice usually happens when your liver is in really really bad shape. check the yellow doesnt reach your eyes. must see a doctor if it happens again. Stop the opiods, booze, drugs for a little while and take some liver detox tablets and plenty of water.

such thing as a liver detox tablet?

^Agree with all the above. The yellow colour is the build up of bilirubin, a sign your liver is struggling to function.

As someone who has suffered liver failure,-albeit a long time ago, to the point where relatives were advised by my doctors to travel hours to say goodbye, don't stuff around in getting medical care ASAP.

My first sign after abusing alcohol & OTC codiene/paracetamol tablets was literally turning yellow within hours. My dad walked in & said "fuck, why're you yellow"? & took me straight to ED.

I was in hospital for months, classed as palliative. Too ill to even consider being transferred in the hope of a liver transplant.

Obviously, with optimum care, I pulled through, with a permanant "allergy" to paracetamol. Never touch the stuff again.

Unless you've also been eating 50kg of carrots,- that'd also give you a bit of colour, please take this as being serious & get to a doctor.

What do you use regularly? I notice you used 4 drugs for a friend's bday but what is your DOC? As everyone mentions yes, please receive some help. My liver enzymes were shot when I landed in detox in my late 20's. Took a while to restore.

My doc if meth but theast 3 months its been meth and heroin equaly everyday. Also beer quite frequently
