I know a few people with graduate degrees who said if it wasn't for their stimulant abuse they wouldn't have gotten their degrees lol.

This is so true. There's few students who don't take some kind of nootropic these days.

I've tried a few (mostly as I have ADHD) but they actually cause too much brain fog and/or I lose the ability to shift focus easily. For example I used Modafinil for exam revision sometimes, but took nothing in the exam as it always screwed up my answers.
