Misc Alcohol, Ativan, Valium and Atenolol

I have a speech coming up. All drugs taken will be in my tolerance range: 3 shots of bourbon, 5mg lorazepam, 20mg diazepam, and 50mg Atenolol. I'm very nervous when it comes to public speeches. Does this combination seem like a good idea to wipe away nervousness and inhibitions to a degree?

Why do you need both benzos and alcohol? I'd pick one of the three, not all of them combined (preferably no alcohol at all). You don't want to be stumbling around and slurring your words.

Alcohol, lorazepam or diazepam will lower your inhibitions and reduce nerves/anxiety, but those amounts could potentially make you black out depending on what your tolerance is like. I know you said they were "within your tolerance", but does that mean you've combined all three before, on a regular basis, or those amounts are what you'd usually take of one or the other?

How long is the speech you have to give, anyway? If it's, say, an hour long, then you might consider taking a little bit of each benzo, but it seems reckless to throw alcohol in there at all, especially if it's like 5-15 minutes. I would start preparing for the speech in other ways, i.e., practice in the mirror, breathing exercises, etc. before relying on the drugs to do the work. I understand being anxious about it, but you still want to be ready as much as possible even with the drugs.

Honestly, that sounds excessive. Granted, I don't know what your tolerance is like. Take one of the benzos, leave out the alcohol.

Like Kiefers said, actually practice the speech. Don't rely on benzos to do this for you.
