How to deal with "rebound insanity" from heavy benzo use?

After consuming 10mg flubromazolam, which is equivalent to 800mg Diazepam, I feel extreme paranoia and minor hallucinations after it worn off. I know have suicidal thoughts. What should I do? :sus:

I don't think there's much you can do but wait it out. Don't try to medicate by taking more benzos. You will almost definitely be OK but you'll need some time to reset after that.

That is an absolutely mind-blowing dose of flubromazolam. Did you take that by accident? I hope so. Please don't ever do anything like that again.

Was this a one time dose or have you been using constantly at high doses for some time?

If it is the latter one the real withdrawal probably hasn't even started yet considering that flub has a half life of 4-5 days. And you should either taper with diazepam or a similar benzo or better yet get yourself to the ER and demand help cause you could be at risk of seizures if you took so large doses for weeks or months.

Oh boy......equal to 800mgs insane! I would seek a doctor. As others have stated, was this a one time usage or have you been building up to this dose for several days/weeks.

If this is a one time dose, you should get better after a few days, if you've been taking this stuff for several weeks at high doses, you need medical attention.

I can't fathom 80mgs of valium, let alone 800mgs, goodness sakes.

I agree I hope you get professional help. Benzodiazepine induced seizures are lethal.

I never really abused benos significantly, more just used them as tools. But I can't believe you bombed that much.

Please keep in touch brother, even if you decide not to seek help.

Are there amphetamine binge rebounds?

Right now I have the same feeling that I got a long time ago when coming down from 350mg of MDMA, back when I was only learning to swim. I just feel a fever + insanity. That's how I describe the "flubromazolam hangover".

I took a 3 week break, so I think my tolerance has reset by the time I took it again. So yeah, imagine that fucking up my brain without any tolerance. I'm suprised that I'm still alive.

The bad part about what you're going thru is I can't think of anything you could take to help you with the comedown/withdrawals/etc.......

Only thing I can say is you either ride it out or seek a doctor.......I'm thinking once you've told them your problem, they might ween you down with some Valium.

He took 40 pills (0.25mg). IMO it's equivalent to 400 Valium, not 800.

I can easily fathom 80mg of Valium, since I had a prescription for 10mg/day of Xanax from 2003-2012. That equates to 100mg of Valium per day and still wasn't nearly enough. My all time high benzo use was 50 tablets (2mg -- the larger size) of diclazepam. 50 isn't even close to excessive for me. For prescription benzos, 20mg of Xanax in a day is my all time high.

Most things in nature follow a natural distribution and I'm clearly an outlier, getting very little response even from huge amounts of benzos. The medical community effectively gives me a fully extended middle finger when I dare to suggest of non-benzos tranquilizer such as phenobarbital or meprobamate. Both were once wildly popular, while today you're screwed if you don't respond to benzos as that's all they'll give you and they won't even give you much of that even when you're disabled by anxiety.

You should see a doctor immediately.

I had severe rebound anxiety (like 24 hour panic) for two weeks after I blacked out on 8mg etizolam and alcohol. It was horrific. I dealt with it via mindfulness based meditation. I did not have hallucinations or suicidal thoughts, though.

It is x80 Diazepam, I know what I'm talking about ;) It's very rare to get RXed with Barbiturates or other GABAergics nowadays. I have heard of some very liberal doctors prescribing opioids like Oxycodone for depression and anxiety, but that's a 1 in a million chance... :(

I'm better now, no need to see a doc anymore. That sounds like an adverse reaction of some kind. 8mg Etizolam is about 1mg of Flubromazolam, which is enough to cause blackouts in a non-tolerant individual, but not enough to cause such side-effects, and mixing with alcohol is never a good idea.

The best solution is to get a hold of more benzos and slowly taper off, instead of just stopping altogether.

This is probably the only drug, aside from heroin, that you seriously need to taper off. Well, maybe alcohol as well, possibly stimulants for some people.

All the same, I think there are anti-seizure medications and possibly anti-psychotics you could use if you did just want to cold turkey them, but I wouldn't advise anti-psychotics.
