30mg morphine IVed - first time with opioids, no rush?

Hello!
This was intriguing for me. I am not at all an opioid tolerant person; bought some morphine vials and decided to IV them. First 10mg, then 20mg, then 30. I liked the high - but there wasn't any rush.
I've read that 5 to 15mg was a good starting dose, but I think 30 wasn't enough It felt a bit 'lacking'.
Well, I'm used to the coke IV rush, which at times was extremely intense, so I think maybe I misjudged it and was expecting something that wouldn't ever be there. Or maybe I just didn't do enough. Anyone know why is this?

If you are opiate naive,you should start out on low doses. The fact you IV'd with zero tolerance made me cringe...such an easier way to overdose via IV.

Morphine euphoria/buzz is different for everyone...ranging from sedation, euphoria, warm feeling, etc. I always feel warm in my spine, but that's it. I rarely get the "itch" unless the morphine is fresh, so to speak.

Don't push it with dosage, please. If you do too much, it will slow your breathing to respiratory depression/death.

Morphine can make you feel good and sometimes very calm, a little euphoric for up to 3 hours or so. There is no rush from Morphine.
Depending why you use it and how much, it could be enhanced but if you are not in pain and IV 30 mg, it's really not that great.
But as any other opiate, it can be highly addictive so I would be careful about your choices as this could lead you to stronger meds.

Don't worry - I started out on 10mg, and it was fine. My third shot was 30mg.
It's hard to come across opioids around here, especially the heavier stuff, like heroin or oxy. This was sort of a 'try out of curiosity that I won't repeat much'.
I've read about a 'morphine rush', but wasn't quite sure what to expect. It made me feel calm, warm, mellow. I'm guessing this is as far as it goes.
I liked the gentleness of it, though. Having a steady source must both be a blessing and a curse...

Yes, the wording you've described it sounds perfect; gentleness, warmth, calm, but not intensively euphoric.

From what I understand morphine has a lot less of a rushing sensation than say heroin or oxy.
In fact from like a chemical standpoint or whatever that's only difference between morphine and dicetylmorphine (heroin)

I don't really know though, sounds nice regardless.

Saying that morphine provides no rush it's just asinine. The right dose of morphine can provide an overwhelming rush for someone new to it. The pins and needles rush of morphine is quite intense.

I respect most of your posts in the pasts, but I couldn't disagree with this post any more.

Not sure whether OP shot 10mg, then 20mg, then 30mg totalling 60mg, or just 10mg, then 10mg, then 10mg, totalling 30mg.

Even if it was 60mg, 30mg would be very pleasurable for any opiate naive user.

morphine is very weird, my experience with it is pretty much the contrary of yours. i've IVed morphine several times and i always get a very short, five second rush and then immediately zero effects.

even at 30mg IV with zero tolerance, the rush is very strong but lasts a few seconds then i'm sober, though with pinpoint pupils. i don't get it really. once though i ate 90mg and nodded for one hour or so. that one experience and the times i tried opium tincture are what kept me trying to get high off morphine, but i was never able to replicate that time.

you got the vials from Cristalia i suppose? i always wondered if there wasnt something funky with the morphine from that lab, ive had opium and the high is amazing but i never had any success with pure morphine (bought from the drugstore so i know its not fake shit)

tho, not really HR advice, but i bet it goes well with cocaine... i know that when i IVed 20mg of ritalin and 20mg of morphine it had an amazing rush, but i never got to try morphine with cocaine, i bet its amazing...

I've had that experience with tramadol. Except there wasn't anything. No rush, no high, nothing.
I got that same vials, yes. I don't know if there's anything wrong, I enjoyed the high, just expected more, I guess. It was almost the same as codeine to me - feeling calm, peaceful, etc.
(From personal experience) One time I injected morphine with a little bit of K and it was nice, never tried it with cocaine or any other stimulant, though. But I imagine it must be pretty neat. My current favorite combo is coke with special k.
