Why is some crack painful to inhale?

I've noticed that with the usual stuff I buy, it seems to be pretty good quality, no discomfort when inhaling and holding it in. But with a lot of other peoples stuff it produces an uncomfortable burning/itching sensation in my windpipe/lungs? It doesn't seem to be of as decent quality either, but I can't hold it in so it's hard to tell. Anyone else had this? Is it something it's cut with? Any suggestions more than welcome, thanks :\

I've never experienced burning or itching with crack. It could be cut with who knows what so find a better source.

It is like when you first start smoking... your throat/lunges is just reacting to a new substance. It doesn't know what it is so it gets agitated, but the more you do it, the less this while occur, until it stops entirely.

Now if you get it from smoke crack and not others, there's probably a cutting agent that, while not lethal or even overly harmful, simply is registered as a new particle and you react to it. Keep in mind some of this is in fact psychological.

For example even seasoned smokers will cough when using vaping products for the first time, despite it both being tobacco.

Ever been diagnosed with pleurisy? I have it and at times, smoking irritates my lungs all the way to my lower back. What are you using to smoke with? Foil/cans .. you need to burn off the chemicals a few minutes before smoking. It's probably better to use a pipe, I guess.

I used to have a doctor who would tell you to x-Ray or see how your lungs are. Any respiratory issue, or stains, etc should be evaluated just in case..
