English footballer tests positive for cocaine

Jake Livermore who plays for Hull City and has played for England. I always wonder how much of this goes on, I'm pretty sure I've read they're only tested very rarely and clubs aren't really duty bound to carry out tests for recreational drugs. Given the money they earn, I bet a fair few players like a sniffle. Probably even more so below the Premier League where the money's still decent but there isn't the same media attention.

Haha! can't believe Sunderland have had Adam Johnson back playing for them, not gonna reflect well on the club if he's convicted. The grooming charge suggests they've got proof of conversation between them, which would lead you to think he knew how old she was.

I live near Sunderland and work there (sort of...Sunderland ambulance station...although I'm on the sick at present) and the abuse Adam Johnson gets is hilarious... Even from his own fans. I love being asked to work at Sunderland home games for that reason alone. As awful as the charges are how many blokes have chatted up a bird in a club who looked "a bit young".... Usually a sensible bloke would take it no further but I bet underage sex happens more often than is reported....grooming however is a COMPLETELY different kettle of fish...that's just wrong on many levels.

IMHO if someone is in an age-restricted venue, and not self-evidently under-age, you should have a reasonable expectation that the staff are doing their jobs properly and they are old enough to be there.

Admitting an under-ager to a club, should be considered Aiding and Abetting any crime subsequently committed against that person. The thought of potentially being an accomplice to a nonce might make door staff check IDs a bit more carefully. Lying about your own age to a man should also be considered Soliciting a Crime.

footballers are just cretinous scumbags who would better benefit society if they were all in prison. If organised football was banned britain might be a considerably nicer place to live.
