After almost 5 years of tenure, Footscrazy is stepping down from her current post as a moderator of Australian Drug Discussion. Over the years this forum has been enriched by her insightful, informative and compassionate advice. I have made this thread to thank her for all the work she has put in and also wish her the best for the future!
 
I thought footscrazy was a dude?? huh weird, I never actually looked at her profile or talked to her or read many posts in the last 5 years, actually that's it I fell off the planet for ages and just lurk here every 6months or so, but when ever I looked at that profile pic and user name I just thought I think this person is a guy (no offence meant, I'm just stupid), none the less I'd like to thank you for putting in 5 years here, evry mod here does this shit a lot of the time unrewarded just because they want to help people like themselves to look after themselves and stay strong, good luck with what ever you do in the future footscrazy and look after yourself :)

You've done awesome work here Foots, should be able to put it on your resume :P too bad society isn't quite ready for that.

You guys all deserve a medal or something really - all mods donate their time and get minimal recognition. Although it's slowed down lately AusDD is a great resource and I hope it continues to be here for a long time to come.
 
Having lurked here for a decade and only recently posting I have enjoyed many a post by Footscrazy.
 
Got to meet the beautiful lady once, been on here and a productive part of Bluelight for a long time, even before the great service as a mod.

I hate to see you go, Foots but I know you won't have made the decision lightly. The light in Bluelight just got dimmer.<3
 
I hope you don't plan to leave us all together footsy. I used to chat to you before you became mod and before I completely ruined myself with drugs and you were always great to talk to.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone <3 I'm on limited time atm - will be away for awhile - new adventures looming. I will def be back to say hi at some point. Will miss you all - this has been a big part of my life for ages and I've met some wonderful people. <3
 
Goodbye foots, thanks for all your hard work on Bluelight - and thank you for being there to talk when I was going through one of the worst periods of my life. You helped me immensely.

Well that's the end of Bluelight.

Since all the original mods left, and now the last gal standing is going, there's no need to even come back to this site. I am only using this username due to forgetting my password on my main profile. Anyways...

No offence current mods, but this place has gone downhill, BIG TIME.

All the very best, Foots. I've been a fan of your even-handed style and attention to detail since you became mod. It'll be tough for the existing crew to keep up the quality but they'll do it. No doubt.

Nah. It has its moments and its lulls just like any forum. More importantly, if you feel like there's something lacking in content or quality, then do your best to bring it in your own posts. That's how sites like this become great sources... when people have some pride in their posts and believe that they really can be of help to others.

The fact that we're all still here (in some capacity - posting or not) is testament to this.
