I assume it is pulled early because we are talking about cash croppers here. I wouldn't know how it affects better genetics taken to harvest because you couldn't pay me to put that shit in my cannabis.

PGR's alone might not ruin the quality of cannabis as much as my experience suggests, but they are not good for your health and imo no ethical grower would use them.

I tried it once, it stops the stretching at the start of flowering & puts it straight into flower, makes the buds fatter so they look fat enough 2 weeks before it's ready, but it still takes the same length of time for the trichs to develop. I wouldn't use anything like that again, not worth it, but I'm not sure any actually makes it into the buds as it would only be used during the first week of flower, I wouldn't chance it again though. It didn't affect the quality, except a few buds were too dense & went mouldy.

I'm not sure what went wrong with that stuff that Jibult had though, I just know I'd turn it down. There must be more than one person that sells bud near you, Jibult, but I'd rather go without than buy terrible weed, they'll only sell you crap if you keep buying it, dealers soon learn if you turn stuff down sometimes.

Lol, no. Just no. To all that.

Those two samples came from the same person on different days. He gets what he can, and I deal with the result.

I'd rather have an occasional sub-par batch than have to deal with multiple dope dealers who also handle tree on the side. This dope dealer I grew up with and trust. Can't say the same for.... well, fuck, pretty much anybody outside our little circle.

It's all about balance and I've found mine.

You may think things are strange, but all I know is when I see a fresh half pound available one day and then go to smoke a few days later there's always a pretty much equal size stash of a different strain/batch, with none of the original left over. Say what you want but when that much tree's is gone every few days, one customer's desires is gonna mean fuck-all, brutha.

Hope all are well and praising the sun on this fine day. Polishing off some lovely Dat Dank from the other day.

Have a song for all of your troubles.

On another note, Jibult, do you have any pictures of real purp. I mean, real, proper purple. I love it so, yet it evades me. 35 minute drive, 20$ a gram :(

Heyyyyyy I didn't say I was right, just that I felt justified. Huuuuuuge difference in my book. ;)

I've had thoughts of tearing this mother fucker apart all day. I thought the beer'd help that subside a bit.... If it turns legal, it turns legal. At this point it's he-said-she-said with injuries on both sides, with evidence of me trying to find an alternate solution. At the very least (in a worst-case scenario), we're both losing our jobs, and an assault charge at this point is just another drop in the (mostly drug-related) bucket for me.

Also, my workplace is heavily unionized. Workplace violence is not tolerated, but it has to be seen by management or vouched for by witnesses to be a terminable offense (from how I've seen it played out before.)

Mother fuckin' Teamsters, brutha-- they know how to look out for dues-paying members.

I know man, just trying to be real as possible. All reality I bet you guys both caught each other on a bad day in a bad way and escalated from there. My point was that having experienced quite a bit of violence in the workplace is that usually regardless of instigator, both parties usually end up going. Or if it is a matter of family/friend/personal relationship with owners, well take your guess on that one. Even workplace injuries... it comes down to liability is what the owners see.

I watched my dad go through all the Teamster BS after having a conflict that ended violently at a cannery. It went on for months, and only reason my dad kept his job was because he had proof that he was attacked and the other guy had no proof of anything. No cameras, no wittnesses. My dad had a small bit of evidence that collaborated his story, other guy just had his story.

Sounds like you were ready for something different any way. I've been there before, except I was somehow able to maintain and just walk off the job. Believe it or not, looks better to employers than fighting. Then again, I've worked for managers doing construction in the middle of nowhere who said that problems were solved by locking the two in a connex(container) until it quiets down. There was one boss I worked for who was very well known to be prone to violence of overreaction, he got violent with a number of co-workers, including other bosses, but it was outside of work.... long story short though, everyone I've seen prone to violence in the workplace will not last.

heat of the moment, things are different, but I try to keep in mind it is better to walk away from a job rather than catch a case. If either way you have to get a new job either way all I'm saying.. talking to myself I guess as well. Grew up with a lot of violence around, seen how it plays out long term and imo best to avoid at all cost.

EDIT: read further thru the thread, glad to hear you still have and income Jib. Hopefully no one reported it and it was just two men handling shit like men do sometimes. Might not hurt to throw out some applications, personal experience I'll tell you it is easier to find work while you are still employed.

sorry for to the double post... just had to keep shit real for a moment.

so I hear this knock on the door at 12:30 on my door- wasn't expecting anyone and my rooommate was passed out for at least an hour or more. Grabbed some protection before I opened the door I'll tell you that much. I live in the hood, central valley of california is the meth capital I swear. So many tweakers. My grandmas shed just got broken into a few blocks down.

Anyways, just some cougar my roommate picked up at wal-mart(LOL)... asking for my roommate but sounding thirsty as hell. Might have swooped if I wasn't so sketched...wasn't bad looking but shit got my adrenaline going. That and hoodrats all over this neighborhood.

In my experience bud like that which is dense and has a shitload of hairs has been treated with PGR's like paclobutrazol or chlormequat. It tends to be really dense because the calyx's haven't swollen, covered in hairs, lacking in trichomes and the scent is really mild. It only really starts to smell as you break it up and there seems to be a pretty generic smell that most PGR bud has to it, although you do get some actual cannabis smell as well.

In my experience this weed doesn't tent to burn well or taste good either, but there is a decent possibility this was caused by other factors, as commercial growers who use PGR's are not likely to give a fuck about using heavy pesticides in flower, flushing or curing the weed.

An awful lot of weed for sale where I live is like that, it is fucking horrible, supposedly the stuff is carcinogenic as well. It makes me sick how people turn medicine into a poison for the sake of making a few extra dollars. I would strongly recommend that you stop buying from that source, imo if someone is willing to put PGR's in their grow they will probably put just about anything in it. The prevalence of that dirty shit is why I stopped obtaining my cannabis from the black market.

The other stuff you have looks really nice though! :)

two joints later, about 400 different tabs open, few youtube videos watched, and I'd have to agree with this. I think I know exactly what you are talking about as far as the very specific look, smell, taste, and burn. Good bad appeal, never smells as good as it should look tho. Grind some up, or even break open a nug, surprisingly more more smell- sort of fruity? IME.Smokes harsh and fairly weak effect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_J8q2vDGz5k#t=84

I've even had the what I thought was a bright idea at the time that I could make wax out of some of last seasons flowers(while ago....learned some lessons since). Could probably take a whole zip of the bubble to the dome and get a little buzz. Smoking it made me put it out. lol...

Smoked weed picked early... buddy couldn't wait. Felt like had a lot of cbd but didn't really get us high, just made us hella sleepy. Maybe good for insomnia.

Totally respected everything you had to say earlier, and you're on-point with this post too.

I'm not prone to violence by any means. I'd typically rather walk away than confront an issue, but adrenaline's a funny thing.

Thanks man. That's my homegrown pre-98 bubba kush. It tastes like chocolate and coffee. One of the best tasting strains I've ever had the chance to grow/smoke.

I like how you have the spliff in Bobs mouth. Proper etiquette right there.

Went to the shooting range this afternoon (only a little high lol), it was SO much fun. Plus it's great meditation, I was so rejuvenated when I left.

My first time EVER firing a handgun too. I used to shoot a .22 at summer camp, and I've shot airsoft guns, but never a real handgun, and didn't do much standing position in camp (but did do some, I was a pretty good shot).

Got to fire 100 rounds today between a Ruger .357 Magnum, 9mm Glock 19, and 9mm Beretta 92FS. I expected my favorite would be the Beretta, but the Glock was actually--it was the most accurate and the easiest to shoot overall. I surprised myself with my shooting too, I was getting a whole clip into a grouping the size of my phone every time. The Ruger is fucking heavy though, I would have shot more but by the end my arm was tired.

fuck last night i swear i was finna puke. 20mg valium and 5 beers with some kief hits and i was fuckin spinning. forced my friends to drop me home & shit lol.

i think it was all the kief's fault. weed after booze can mess ur shit up too good

I got back from Amsterdam yesterday and i gotta say that i already miss the city. Tried a lot of strains, some of them were really good but also kind of expensive, but it was worth it for sure.
I loved the vibe (and the people), way better than other big european cities.

Did u even truffle bro?^

ive had some "blackjack" in my jar since sunday. i don't like to call weed by the strain as i didn't grow it n shit but that's what dealer said. tbh i dont even care about names lol. i just like cheese, sour d and purple k.

i found this weed wasn't strong so i thought i'd cure it this week. gonna see whats up now.

^ tried some of that white widow, it was actually kind of cheap compared to the other strains but the quality was very good, great high. Their hazes are very good too, smoked some G13 Haze and it gave me the strongest sativa high.

Potato: yes i do haha, took some mexicana. It was actually my first time paying for psilocybin, i normally go shroom hunting.
And oddly enough i too have some Blackjack, im vaporizing a bit right now.

That's good to hear 4meSM. I haven't been to the Dam in about 9 years. If and when I go back, it's good to know I'd be able to sample my old favorite for a cheap price again!

I'm not sure if the stored still sell it over there, seeing as you got truffles, but I picked up some wet hawaiian cubensis in a store when I was there.

One thing I do know that changed is I was able to go to a regular bar, order an alcoholic drink along side my order of White Widow and smoke and drink all at the bar. I didn't even have to tip the waiter who brought me beer AND weed. It was like a once in a lifetime experience I think.

nice man! i'm dying to experience psilocybin. it's the peak of the dry season here so we can't go hunting yet. im definitely gonna experience them when i go away in august tho.
does your black jack look anything like this?

?? cuz i'd imagine what you have is actually blackjack. sorry my camera is actually very shitty.

i heard they tightened the cannabis laws on THC concentrations in amsterdam. they also banned mushrooms. but man that sounds like the fuking future. beer&herb in the same bar? one can only dream

I last went maybe 12 years ago & found the White Widow variable quality, some of it is a bit crappy with the other breeders coming out with their own versions of White Widow. It was fantastic in the 90s & I hope I can find some white widow as good as that again, the white russian was amazing too (ww x ak47) & white rhino wasn't bad, white strains were big in Amsterdam in the 90s.

They banned magic mushrooms a few years ago, truffles are still legal.
