40 is the youth of old age, and 50 is the old age of youth. Someone said that the other day. Since i turned 30 many years ago i havent been overly bothered about getting older, which is just as well really, as no matter what efforts you go to to try to stay young, it can make a difference, even a big difference, but i dont think there'll be a "cure" for ageing in my lifetime.

Imagine if they invented an anti ageing medication, what year would you want to go back to? I wouldnt mind having another go at being 15. Life was pretty good then and for the next decade or so, although there were a lot of extreme ups and downs during that period too.

Thats like a politicians answer isnt it. :\ Just talk around the question rather than answer it. :o Its not like there's a load of teenage girls queing up to be my next g/f and they will all suddenly be put off when they discover that I'm 44. :D
 
31 - old enough to feel too creepy to message 18/19 year olds I get matched with on Tinder, still immature enough to allow people of that age to show up in my matches ;)
 
Im 49 and 14 days.

50 irks me but I'm setting myself up a 50 CAMP...............where there's a line that means I can have a new beginning aiming for being 100 and being a really old bitch =D
 
I'm 45 this year, I only really sulked about being 30, it wasnt a good time for various reasons, don't really think about it these days.

I looked burnt a burnt out 25 year old from 18 - 30 odd, now I'm just burnt out ;)
 
YI'm scared of dying. Am I the only one that has this fear of death? When i was on citralopram it disappeared but now it's back with a vengence. I know that we all have to die sometime but im hoping that's it an incredibly long time away.

When i was a child I'd often obsess over death n the sheer frightening prospect over it happening one day.

My Nain Peggy was a BIG Christian she read the bible every day as a child n would talk about Jesus. Anyway i said to her once "Are you scared of dying?" She looked at me n said "no, I'm going to God n I'll go when God wants me." I'd like to think she's up there with my Taid n the other members of the family who are now in Heaven.

Maybe when people get old they stop fearing death but I've not stopped fearing it. Maybe that's a blessing in disguise. Some anxiety is good for us.

And every time I have these thoughts I want to live life as good as I can. Apologies for the morbid post.

I had a close friend convinced on that one for about 4 years, then one day he mentioned it in front of Mrs A and the bubble burts, you may wonder how he belived I was 29 for 4 years but this is because you have never met Dave :)
