Took OP80 12 hours ago, can I take Subutex?

Will I go in to precipitated withdrawal if I take Subutex while high on oxycodone?

12 hours ago I took some oxy, an OP80. From what I understand, since it does not contain naloxone will I still go into precipitated withdrawal? My brother is so defiant that I will not go into precipitated w/d's. The reason I am asking is because I always wake up withdrawing but currently I am not withdrawing. He wants me to take it so I will not wake up withdrawing. I would rather take it when I am actually withdrawing because from what I understand, if you have any opiates on your opiate receptors and you take bupe, you will put yourself into precipitated opiate withdrawal, but I could be wrong. Who is right? Thanks so much in advance!!

Its been past 24 hours now so I know I'm fine now but in case in the future it happens again, will it be ok to take subutex while hydrocodone or oxycodone is in my system?

I would not take the suboxone untill 32-48 hours tops to be safe. Also
its really strong and rushy a lot like you wanna clean but a lot of sedation as well for some.

I know this. What I am asking is is if I have already taken an OP80 12 hours PRIOR to taking Subutex, will I go in to precipitated withdrawal? The reason I ask is because my brother is so determined that I can take Subutex an hour or two AFTER my oxycodone dose, he thinks it differs from Suboxone because it does not contain naloxone but I believe it will put you in to precipitated withdrawal if Subutex is taken when you are already on an opiate high, but I could be wrong.

Everyone is different, but IME I've taken it 12 hours from last dose and was fine. I've always been in wd before dosing though.

Your brothers an idiot. It has nothing to do with the naloxone. BOTH will throw you into precipitated withdrawals. The bupe knocks the other opiates off the receptors, thats what throws u into withdrawals. 20-24hrs you will be fine. As long as you're feeling the beginning stages of withdrawal, you can take it and not have any problems.

Absolutely correct. Be well warned. PWD is not fun.
