Morphine redosing

I plugged morphine for the first time today about 6 hours ago. 30 mg mscontin. I didn't really feel anything.
My question is, is it safe to redose now? Should I do 2 30mg pills since one didn't work. I don't take much morphine but I take hydrocodones often.

Do you have a tolerance? How much hydrocodone could you take now?

And is that a medium high or an intense high? 40mg of hydrocodone is equal to about 15mg IV morphine. Rectal BA is around 40-70% I think (huge range, I know). Morphine is a lot more sedating and stronger even at equianalgesic doses though. Plugging comes up reasonably fast too. 30mg should have done something; maybe you didn't fix the MS Contin shots up right? They can be a pain. If you can handle 40mg hydro with a six of beer and 30mg did nothing then 60mg shouldn't be too much, and it's safe to redose now.
 
I've never really tried plugging. For me I need to feel it, either orally or better if IVd.
How is it done? Do you literally plug them or would you have to dissolve the pills first?

Fix them up like you would an IV shot, and then bang them up yo butt. Plenty of detailed guides on the internet, but for almost all drugs, plugging comes right after IV/IM in terms of BA. When I stopped mainlining heroin I used to mostly plug it.
 
Yes, it's safe. If you are worried about it that much you can go to the drugstore and buy a blood pressure cuff for $15. Keep track of your vitals and use that as a redosing indicator.
 
Yeah, morphine isn't for everyone......I like morphine way more than hydrocodone. Seems my body breaks it down pretty good.

Morphine gives me a nice sedation & I can sleep easy at night, where hydrocodone keeps me awake.

Seems people are split between the codones and morphones. Morphine, heroin etc. are much more sedative while hydrocodone and oxycodone are more clear-headed and less stoney.
