Yes. But make sure you just use it to control the withdrawal, because tramadol is a whole other beast in terms of withdrawals. Codeine is mild, and short-acting. Tramadol is long-acting and also an SNRI.

^ that is true. Depending on how mild the withdrawals are you may be a good candidate for loperamide as it is extremely mild, OTC, and helps people stop withdrawals. I know it is strange taking that much of an anti diarrhea medication but a lot of people here swear by it. If you need to get by and have a low tolerance it can be a life saver.
