i would use Hawain Baby Woodrose/LSA, Kanna, low doses of kratom, a potentiating herb, nutmeg oil, Ephedra, guarana, and possibly damania (though may be sedating; but then again so is LSA).

does anyone have any subjestions for making a truely empathogenic herbal E blend? many herbal E blends suck and are just stimulant type herbs rather than empathogenic. the addition of LSA/HBW, kanna (or even kava kava), and nutmeg oil contribute to the empathogenic effects. ephedra, guaranna, and low doses of kratom would produce stimulation.

anyone think this could be improved? i haven't used this recipe but plan on trying it one day.

mescaline might be worth adding into the mix; but i think that's okay on it's own.

Sounds awful. Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds are the worst feeling drug I ever took, the body load is horrendous, followed by ephedra & caffeine mix, you want to mix the worst drugs I ever took with ones that are reputedly even worse. My friend had nutmeg when we were kids, he said it was like having flu for 4 days. Kratom is an addictive opioid, damiana is close to inactive. All mixed by somebody who can't spell the ingredients & hasn't tried them.

Why would you want to try this? MDMA isn't expensive or hard to find now, you can't replicate it by mixing all the worst recreational drugs known.

nutmeg oil is a bit different from the actual plant material. HBW varies in body load from person to person. personally i can handle it greatly and it's the best drug i've ever tried. damania has effects; many reports on erowid can show that. kratom in low doses is speculated to either be antiaddictive or less addictive; if you take moderation into account then the likeliness of addiction is non-existant.

if you have any better ideas i'm all ears. but this is just an idea for improved "herbal E" blends which aren't MDMA. i could see this blend used for people who just want something different or for after an MDMA trip when all your tollerance is built up (you could also use 2-cb and other empathogens as well; but this blend wouldn't present tollerance issues associated with other drugs).

also; where was my spelling wrong? i believe i spelled everything correctly.

to each their own.

This sounds like a worthwhile project, would at least be interesting to see what kind of effects you can get from such a combination. I think a lot of the Dutch 'herbal E' tablets I saw in Amsterdam had a similar mix of LSA/kanna etc

Just say know has a fascination with shitty drugs.

OR i happen to react to them differently. everyone is different and no one is going to react to a drug the same. it's a good idea to start on low doses if you've never tried a drug.

Personally i don't think any of the drugs i mentioned are inherently a "shitty drug". that's just an opinion; not a fact. some people think alcohol and tobacco are shitty drugs; shall we judge them too? instead of criticizing the idea contribute to it, express yourself in a more dignified manner, or leave the thread because this is for discussion of making an empathogenic herbal E which i will restate; isn't the same as MDMA: not for whether or not it's a bad idea. contribute or please politely stay out of the thread.

No need to get your panties in a wad. You're always asking questions about strange drugs in PD, and I'm confident that most people would call them shitty drugs. Accept that, and move on.

If I were gonna make an attempt at herbal E, I would start with sassafras and go from there.

A small amount of Mormon Tea (which as far as I know is pseudoephedrine dominant, rather than ephedrine) has combined well with a cold-water sassafras tea in the past.

thanks splatter; i was just looking for productive imput. i didn't mean to get PO'd just i was looking for a serious discussion. i'm looking into kanna as well as i hear it's similar to small amounts of MDMA. also Stanley i didn't mean to come off as hostile or anything; just kinda wanted to keep it productive to the topic is all.

there is no such thing as "effective herbal ecstasy". you can get a herbal psychedelic or herbal speed but that's it.
also i wouldn't combine two drugs with distinct vasoconstrictive properties like lsd and ephedrine. you might get potentiation or at least additive effects leading to circulation problems.

as far as i know there not any naturally occurring empathogens. the closest you would get i imagine would be a lower-dose mescaline trip. perhaps san pedro, khat and/or coca?

well i've had alot of different thoughts about it but so far i haven't found anything that would work effectively. but i wanted to ask people if they ever knew of herbal empathogens. now i do wonder if there are any unidentified or less known plants that haven't been looked into as an empathogen? unfortunately there's just no way to tell... but if anyone can find info on this; i am interested. i've been doing research myself but i guess that it's not logical to go about this due to the lack of herbal empathogens... besides mescaline of course :)

I have used Sassafras tea all my life. I make a mixture of Sassafras, Sarsaparilla, Licorice, and Vanilla. I boil it covered at simmer for 5 mins. Than I put it in the fridge for 12 mins. The tea definitely gets me buzzed too but not much more than a coffee. I have found several natural binder's for the tea. Here they are. The most effective reactor I find is Star Anise. Add a few pods of Star Anise to the tea and the tea has a sort of dream like "dark" effect. like a disassociative. Mixing it with allot of Cinnamon does very little but it does enhance the stimulated effects. I once made a brew of coffee, frozen raspberry's, my tea mix and a little Sambuca. Worked great. I am going to try to soak the Sass with sambuca in the freezer. I mix it with Sambuca all the time; definitely heightens the effect. One friend of mine mixed baking powder and bakers lye to it and it foamed up. We ate said foam and found it to be very silly and a strong catalyst to opiates. Please keep studying this plant and possible catalysts to it. I have added ephedrine HCL to the tea and it worked well as a catalyst. You need caffeine and a amphetamines in your system to act as a binder to really feel the effects. I find when I dont take my Welbutrin I feel allot less effect. Please keep studying and experimenting but try to keep the chemistry out of it and find the science botanically. Anyone else want to really experiment and find out about a botanical legal high? I know I can feel a mild buzz from just the tea alone. Add some of the things I have listed and the Tea becomes more potent. Please help me find the right mixtures and catalysts so I can say f@k U to the pusher man!

Star anise and licorice have a magic quality when used with cactus tea. It allows you to drink unpleasant tea with more ease.

Empathogenic experiences come when the place where drugs are done, the state of mind and spirit are right. I asked many people about their MDMA use and they said that they never had anything that I experienced.
I experienced oneness with the Higher Power. The effect was similar to Kundalini awakening. I stopped eating meat for a week, I had no craving for other goodies.

Think of all the people that do MDMA in clubs and never get anywhere with it. The magic is in having a safe place to experience the drug.

There is an economic side to all this. I turned to psychedelics and discovered the magic of MDMA because I am to poor to go to healers, pay money to hypnotherapists, holotropic breathing specialists.
Yet I have a lot of self-discipline and inner strength.

Pretty much my health wore out from being exploited as a minimal wage worker and I am still rebuilding it.

The magic of psychedelics is that they are cheaper than other methods and with the same willingness to heal may produce mass-enlightenment. They can heal more people and faster.

Too many things will change and for this reason psychedelics are kept illegal. You need traumatized people to join the military, do other things that keep the economy going.
There will be less inmates to exploit as cheap labor. People will stop believing in politics the way it is delivered right now.
