Opioids Some Other Veins to Hit?

On my right arm (the crease in my elbow) I had a real nice vein that I hit endlessly, until I fucked up the needle, and when I hit it, it missed -- so now it's rock hard and hurts like a bitch when I try. I moved onto my left arm, but I want to give it time to heal. I have hit the spots above your wrist, and missed a lot so those are kind of fucked -- I'm not sure what else to hit? I know there are MANY other spots, but I'm kind of a noob at shooting ANYWHERE other than the insides of my elbow. I don't use a tourniquette which makes it even harder for my hands and stuff. Do you guys suggest I get one? And what are your favorite spots to hit? I dont do legs or feet. Feet grosses me out. I hate feet generally, let alone sticking needles in them. %)

definitely use a tourniquet itl help a lot. i fucked up my veins inside the elbows and can't hit anywhere else so i usually just shoot into my old spots and miss, it gets the job done but there is no rush and its extremely disappointing. but yesterday i shot into my left bicep (using a tourniquet) and got the best rush I've had in a while.

Eww. Don't IM junk man, ur asking for an abcess and a possible arm loss

To op. Find a needle exchange, they will give u all the needles and sterile equipment u need, as many needles as u want. No reason to not use new syringes each shot. Use ur left crook for now, use new needles every shot and make sure u register. U can be a junkie ur whole life using only one crook vein if u learn how to register blood and use new sharp needles every shot. Seriously, do u see junkies with completely fucked track marks? It's cuz they used the same needle over and over again. It literally terrorizes ur veins.

An venous anatomy chart/picture can actually work well, even if it's just as a reference point.

It's hard to tell someone which veins will work best for them without being able to see or feel first-hand. It sounds like you're already well-aware of the first choice spots.

Take a hot shower, do some push-ups and curls, make sure you're well hydrated and make your tourniquet tight. Do not inject with a tight tourniquet, just use it to spot your most viable veins and then loosen as much as possible.

Does anyone have a solid reference for IM being a more abscess-prone ROA than IV? I'm not saying it's not true, I just can't find anything that comes close to truly confirming or denying.
