I've been tending toward the social trips recently, but agree that solo is where it gets most interesting.

JJ, I had similar feelings at one point during a trip with a female friend, though I didn't voice them. If you're falling in love with someone else, it's probably time to take a hard look at what's going on in your marriage and figure out what's not working.

I'm down to drink some Bacardi with you. Rum used to be my favorite liquor but since I moved to the south I've discovered good moonshine made of heirloom corn. 100% corn liquor is my favorite these days.
Right now I'm sipping on the best beer of 1893, using only the finest ingredients, PBR.

Haha I've always imagined moonshiners were like this secret underground group where membership is mysteriously offered to you once your alcoholism has reached a certain level.

That's good ol Popcorn Sutton. The moonshine I mentioned previously that's made with heirloom corn is legal shine made in a professional distillery. It's called Troy and Sons. In fact it was featured in the moonshiners show when the main character came to Asheville to use the Troy and sons distillery to make his shine.
I've had back country shine but it wasn't as good as Troy and sons. I also have some friends who are studying brewing and distillation and they make decent shine. It's really not hard to do.

What kind? The Platinum? I have never had moonshine, isn't it supposed to be higher than 40% alcohol? The site will ship it to my state, so I am considering buying a bottle...
