Can you not set up yahoo msger or summit on the pc for now? I know it's not the same but it's better than nothing. Or there's skype where you can see each other on it.

I know it's annoying when you have to send your phone off but have they not given you a hire phone?

we're on a messenger account but We speak constantly on the phone. On my way to work, during my breaks etc. It's hard going from constant communication to just messenger. It's a painful thought.

Evey does make a good point, which you never answered, I think. Can you not setup Skype on your netbook thing? Use it over wi-fi for free.

BTW I'm back in my red dungarees, back on the loft project. :D
