I've IM'd MXE too. ~50mg. Takes 3-5 minutes to start coming on, and when it does it's like a freight train.
However when it comes to injecting something, at least as far as Xorkoth's story goes, it's (well, mostly) irrelevant what you're injecting anyway. "Drugs", steroids, plain ol' saline solution...farken orange juice. Makes no difference to procedure or to a lesser extent mental/psychosomatic reactions. You're still going against natural instincts by sticking a foreign object through your skin for the purpose of emptying its contents within.
Injection of AAS absolutely must be IM. For the most part they're going to be suspended in an oil based solution, don't want that shit in your bloodstream.
I've never IV'd anything, and I can say with almost certainty that it's a line I'll never cross. I would only ever consider IV'ing certain things, which would only ever be to see what the difference is over IM, as these certain things would be best off IM injecting anyway...so ultimately no point bothering with IV. That, and it carries some extra minor risks I don't see any point taking when IM is a million times easier for me.
