No the best effort, I did a fucking cowboy operation using synthcaine that was 80% ethylphenidate, 10 % lido and 10% something else. It cooked very easily tith bicarb and formed nice clean blobs of reebase oibut eh oil didn't realy get too sticky whch made collecring it harder. Still, a bit of fun experiment fot the sake of £15 for a gram and given the way IV blows you away I tjouht it was worth checking out a smoke:

Whaked the liquor I cooked in in to the fresser which srarts nakig thwn

It's still needs to set in that picture, that's just the freebasse oil collected from the reacion vessels (usualy spoon or mini ladel) i cooked up in and seperated from the ater/solutio.. Poper liquidy at room temp.

Ohh, andd don't really adise anyone doing this btw

That sounds like far too much effort to me, although the 'blows you away part' sounds pretty good. I wonder why the vendors dont offer the choice of freebase. Maybe it would generate too much 'heat', as ethyl in its current form seems to have been around for ever, seemingly forever just evading the ban radar.

Tbh I'm just as interested in your book collection as your ethyl experiment, which gives me an idea for a new thread; "post pics of your book collection". Ive got 4 bookshelves, and most of my books have been read several times. You get the impression with some people that they buy grand sounding 'intellectual' books 'for show' just to try to impress people and they dont actually ever read these heavyweight tombs. Maybe im being a bit cynical and Im definitely not saying this applies to you CATINTHEHAT.

As per usual I've not done any preparation for my working week which starts tomorrow; not done the washing up, not ironed my shirts, not washed my hair/ not had a shower and shave, not made sandwiches as there wont be anywhere to get food in the morning, not even thought about my evening meal yet. I really dont have time to start that thread tonight and should get my ass off this place. I could do some of these things tomorrow morning but it would be a much better idea to get as much as possible done tonight. Even in your nominal 'free time' work eats into it, due to all this getting things ready stuff.:\

@ Don, are you getting your American Blockbuster TV series mixed up? Dont you mean Eisenberg/ Walter White rather than Dexter:?

My spelling is prety por anyway but had surgery on ym shouder yesterday so fuck cirrections. Going to buy a £50 of ethylphedicate (5g?)cand cook in to a freebase with ammonia but cool and dry the product like a quaity item to price trnaslucent crytals od sone solour. , Hopefully we will rnd up` with some nice brown trnslucent crystlels (mightfreze them out of solvent to kae tem huge).
 
I asked on bluelight about IV'ing ethyphenidate a few weeks back as the word on the street round my parts is that it is indeed an epic high and has become a bit of a problem around the injecting community.

I wonder if this is what they are doing to prepare it?
 
Surely ethylphenidate doesn't need any preparation for IV - I'm assuming its in salt form already (hydrochloride?) so would be readily soluble in water? If anything, I'd have thought that converting to the freebase would make it harder to IV. However, I know bugger all about ethyl, So I stand to be corrected (what piqued my interest was the bit about IV blowing you away)...

"Synthacaine" is EPH cut with benzocaine or lidocaine or whatever. This is no secret anymore. Why the living fuck would anybody use that shit? :\

(yes it may sting less when snorted, and it does rock up better for sale to folk that know no better, but it also massively increases the chance of heart failure - given how bad eph is already i'd not touch that shit with spade's frankly)

I answered that in whatever thread you posted it in so will mostly assume this is one of those "occasional" questions.

The high is horrid and the prep is water + heat. At least shoot speed if you're gonna shoot a bogstandard stim. You can even get a half-decent rush off the crappy glucose shit if you put enough in the spoon. Less likely to feel like death ten minutes later too.

Ick.

(and that is coming from somebody who shot more shit (and i do mean shit in so many instances) than you had hot dinners.

Gah, my lungs still hurt from a protracted binge of vaped EPD, after my nose gave up. The freebase was painful enough, but smoking the HCl salt was, to paraphrase another poster; "like taking a cheesegrater to one's lungs".

No, all you need to do is add water and heat if you have an ethylpenidate salt of some sort (most likwly) and the rush is ineed intense. No more IVing for me though.

What I'm doing here is trying to remove the acidic salt part of the molecule to just end up with the ethlphenidae freebase which is actually smokesble (although also a liquid at room temp it seems).
