I agree with Bob (not about knocking you out, I'm not into violence) but you're one of the nicest people I know on Bluelight n I imagine you are in real life too. If you're wife doesn't want to be with you, that isn't a reflection on you. People fall in n out of love all the time n because she doesn't want to be around you right now, doesn't make you a "miserable bastard" it may be more about what's going on her her? Ahhhhh you are here, sorry I miss you, there. Thanks for the lovely post. That's very kind of you. I wrote a post of the codeine addiction thread - hopefully it will help others. I came off my antidepressant 30th December cold turkey (not recommended to others) just need to come off the suboxone now. Hope you're doing ok.

i have no idea which horrible specialist prescriped you suboxone, especially with codeine addiction you had. If you're not in somekind of hardcore pains, not withdrawling, makes no sense? Or if theres stuff i don't know

LOL.... This is all explained in the codeine addiction thread, it's not about the strength of the opiate. It's about the psychological aspect and harm reduction. It was a better option than ODing on paracetamol. I wasn't warned about going on subies from Codeine I was warned about staying on suboxone for too long and the side affects of doing so; lots of codeine addicts go onto subutex; not everyone is aware of cwe. Anyway I won't bore Gibz with all that malarkey again

I had to give up. I used to enjoy a drink (gets me really euphoric under the right circumstances), but for the last couple of years I get really nauseous after only a unit or so of alcohol. I'm fine till about lunch time the following day, then the sickness hits me like a train. A few hours later I get pain in my liver area and a headache. This usually last about 48 hours before slowly easing off.

So yeah, I'm broken.

Never had a codeine addiction, never needed to take it, gave hundreds to people in-need work-wise, haven't read the thread so sorry speaking of my own mind.
Yeah i know and well understand why would YOU take it and get it prescribed, still seems very irresponsible (from a prof. that's treating you) especially on a big dosage (and the time of using it), it's their job to sit down with you and tell you about the usage of the meds they prescribe to you and warn you about the potential side effects/etc. lots of painkillers other than paracetamol and the liver damage vs. addiction and lots of health issues evolve with age? very long debate could that be, still you know i mean no harm, just the best, take care gurlll!!!!! stay strong and never give up, gotta be tuff, but when you feel the urge to have some think of your sweetiepie and your family and try beating it, not gonna happen in a day but...

I'm not as much of a trooper as it would seem. Stress and shit along with shite hours are doing my head in. Private chat seems to now have been ignored. TBF I only have one close next week and it's on a day I said I was available to do.

Feeling like shite and should have started getting ready for work an hour ago. Super fast shower today it would seem and hair is gonna be Wednesday Addams paits once again for lack of time.

Nah, my kids went with their mom. Due to us not getting on very well at the moment I didn't get to go and she took her mom instead.. Kids have just got back though, they loved it.. All sporting Harrys specs and photos of them on brooms..

As long as they had fun tis all that matters
