15-20 mg oxycodone - Withdraws?

Hello,

I posted before about concerns I had about the oxycodone I was prescribed and possible withdraw effects. My prescription stated that I take 1 10mg tablet every 6 hours, as needed for pain. I didn't quite follow the every 6 hours part and usually just took between 1 and 2 a day, not going over 20 mg a day, at all. I would sometimes split them and take 1-1/4 tablet (12.5 mg), but never more than that at anyone time and mostly at night. I don't think that I ever took more than 5 mg during the day. I have been on Oxycodone since September 30, 2014, as it was prescribed after a big shoulder surgery. I really stopped taking the prescribed 10 mg every 6 hours about 2 weeks after the surgery and have continued the "as needed" method, as I described above.

Anyhow, I am out now and it has been about 35 hours since the last time I took 3/4 of tablet (7.5 mg). Should I be expecting to go into withdrawals? And, if so, when can I expect them, how long will they last and what should I expect?

I hope that made some sort of sense.

Thank you in advance for any and all help!

Thanks,
Testudo

If you were taking 20 mg a day, I would expect that you are going to experience some discomfort by the second day off. How do you feel now?

Thank you very much for your response.

I really feel fine. I have a lower back ache and a little bit of restless leg thing going on, but I have had that before the oxy's, so it is hard to tell if that is it or not. I have about a few hours until I hit the 48 hour mark. I am worried that it is going to get worse.

Thanks, again.

Well, I am well over 48 hours. Should I still be expecting anything? Sorry if I seem a bit overly paranoid. I would just like to know what to expect. I am taking care of my children, driving and working (not at the same time, of course lol), so I just want to know how bad it can get. I have read some pretty bad horror stories that got my mind racing.

Please, forgive my ignorance, paranoia and impatience.

Thanks!
