Tourist films naked man "escaping" (& falling!) from Buckingham Palace window!

Looks like the poor bastard fell a fair distance, & that he was attempting to escape the palace using knotted sheeting. I'm sure he was wounded in the fall, if not worse. Anyone seen this reported in the mainstream media? I would've thought naked men falling from a Buckingham palace window quite news worthy...

It's okay folks, calm down. Daily Mail reckons it's some elaborate hoax!

A video clip claiming to show a naked man climbing down the facade of Buckingham Palace on a bed sheet has gone viral on the internet.

The video show a couple of tourists standing on Constitution Hill, outside Green Park as the Changing of the Guard is taking place.

As the video zooms towards Buckingham Palace, it appears as if a naked man has clambered out of a window onto a bed sheet and attempts to lower himself to the ground

Despite a naked man just yards away the soldiers seem completely unaware of what is happening over their shoulder.

The man is seen slowly lowering himself down the rope made from bed sheets over the course of several seconds.

However, after about ten feet, the man loses his grip and plummets to the ground some 20 feet below him.

Yet, despite the incident, nobody in the crowd or any of the soldiers appear to react.

However, the 45 second video is believed to be an elaborate hoax.

When contacted, Buckingham palace declined to comment on the video.

The Metropolitan Police said they have not received any reports of a naked man dangling from a Buckingham Palace window.

The London Ambulance Service said they have not received any calls to treat a naked man suffering from injuries sustained from a fall from a rope made of bed sheets.

The Police didn't notice because it was happening behind them!

What happened to this poor guy, I doubt he "escaped" the palace after a fall like that!?!

Still nothing that I have spotted on the TV news nor in any broadsheet on this story. But the internet is abuzz! Yesterday when I found that "What The Hell" video it had had 200 hits. 11 000+ now. When I googled naked man buckingham place yesterday morning there were two returns! There are 8 pages of returns now.

Including this one, where Spivey shreds the Daily Mails flimsy attempt to claim the incident is a hoax - http://chrisspivey.org/nothing-to-fucking-laugh-at/

Not sure if you meant it was only half funny because it was in bad taste, or because there might be an element of truth in it?

HOAX! The building that this fella appears to swing from does not match those that I have found on the internets, nicely illustrated by this fella here...

Deffo a hoax - you can manipulate anything now - so unfortunately seeing is not necessary believing
 
I saw that and immediately thought it looked faked - the man's arms and legs don't move realistically as he lets go, and you can see digital noise around the area. (I've never really given much/any credence to chris spivey - a cross between david icke and al murray - just another 'silent majority' nutjob who goes just that little bit too far and ends up discrediting anyone following the actual scandals (same as icke/jones etc) (maybe i'm being unfair as i've only read a few spivey articles (but they were cringeworthy enough)

I thought it was quite convincing, the "digital noise" could pass off for regular video-compression artifacts. The most obvious thing was the skewed perspective of the facade IMO, but still, well done :D
