Yeah, GHB causes you go straight into REM sleep, so, if you're an insomniac, it'll get you straight to sleep and it'll be good sleep. It's also used for narcolepsy, as it provides such a productive sleep, so sufferers are less likely to fall asleep, during the day. GBL would be different. The sharp come up would get you to sleep, and you might even sleep through, but it will probably start waking you up, with a rebound. When I first started GBL, I could take about 4mls in a night, then sleep fine. Then it started to change, and I was waking up early, feeling shit. That's when 24/7 started. Because GHB is gentler and longer lasting, you could probably get away with using it to sleep, so long as you otherwise didn't use it. The problem is drawing that line, and that's something I couldn't manage.
