The 'What Have You Bought Recently?' Thread - Because Summer Is a Show Off

I bought 9 bottles of essential oils. I needed to top up. They last for ages but some get used more than others.

Tea tree oil
Bergamont
Rose Geranium
Yang Yang
Peppermint
Lemon oil
Rosemary
Patchouli
Lavender

I'm fine for carrier oil as I'm nuts about coconut oil at the moment - sooooo good for the skin, massage, baths etc etc. Hopefully Felix will do my feet tonight 8):D

I imagine this must be quite a treat, special and I suppose it also makes you feel so young with such a fresh skin.
Peppermint should do the trick, at least one of them.. :)

My wife spends quite sometime using oils before going to bed and I can see she´s relaxing when doing this routine.
I surprised her with a "Vanille et musc" from Victoria´s Secret.
It smells good.
I´d want to have a routine that would make me so relaxed as most women normally get when using creams and lotions.

Ok if think this has worked? Its a folder of some of my toys past n present just what I have on my phone like

You know the phrase "no-one likes a show-off"? Well, fuck that; when it comes to machinery I love a show-off. ;)

I had a go of a G-reg Supra from a workmate when I was about 21 (what was he thinking??) and it blew my mind. Fucking excellent weapon. :D

They're incredible cars they really are! Mines actually a pretty rare one as it's the turbo with the manual box. All bodyworks been restored no filler, all cut out where it was rusting an hand rolled and beaten new sections welded in. Engines been rebuilt with exception parts, like forged con rods and pistons, high lift cams etc etc and with the full respray it should be one of the best in the country! Can't wait to get it back from the spray shop ?

A gift to my oldest daughter, perfume from a salesman in Boston who kept saying " your mother will love it " (??)

Do you like group b rally?

A blow torch. A fire brick and modelling tools...

I want to embark on bidding or buying a sewing machine if anyone-looking at Kate especially :) can advise I would be grateful. <3

What do you want to sew? - it matters, some machines can do heavier work that others. I have a Singer Talent, cost about £189 ish. My last one was digital, I would;t buy another.

Ooooo I'm all excited, not only a sewing bee group but a cow bell, triangle and tambourine ensemble =D

Heh. I used to drive my 205GTI (1.9) round the forest tracks of northeast Scotland as if I was an expert rallying god. Fuck knows how I'm still alive. 8(

Mates used to have a Renault 5GT Turbo, a Lotus Sunbeam, and one guy we didn't know actually had an RS200. Other guys had a Lotus Carlton and a Merc 190 Cossie. Those were fun times to be a teenager, but massively reckless and stupid, trying to emulate all that mad stuff.

We are living in reduced circumstances at the moment, Dan (in case you missed that ;)) so there are no impressive cars in the household. The RX-8 was sold a couple of years ago and replaced with an old Clio 1.2 16V Dynamique. Which I love too, in a different way. She might not be fast, but she likes to be thrown about. ;)

Still hanging onto the motorbike, though. Never selling her.
