Evening all,
So, Im going to France next week and I was checking I'd got everything I needed for the car, headlamp adapters, breathalyser
etc.. I then read that they do saliva drug tests, great....!
I then remembered that the UK was looking to start doing it, and it's not far away. Actually, it's pretty fuckin close, 02/03/15
....
Before anyone says "no drug testing talk", we don't need to talk about the actual test, ways around it, we all know what the tests are.. It's more just to make people aware that using a drug and driving is now going to have to be thought about so as to have as little in your system when you get in the car.. not ideal and probably not doable all the time, but if you need your license a hell of a lot you may have to re evaluate your drug use...
Here's what will be tested for and the limits allowed. The prescription drugs have apparently being worked out on the usual prescribed dose so as not to fail it, if you're prescribed a big dose then you're as fucked as someone on MDMA....
Can anyone work out...say... the cannabis one, what does 2mcg/L equate to, could that amount in theory still be in your system the day after you smoked an average spliff??
I'm totally against driving around off your head, on anything however I see this more of an attack on druggie scum "If you've used drugs in the past week you're impaired and a danger to the world"
Here's(<<<link there if you can't see it on the Blacklight skin) some more info on the new laws
