Everyone is different. There is not one specific formula that can be given out with ibogaine.
I would not mix ibogaine with codeine or DXM (to the poster who said that). You are lucky you did not have any serious cardiac side effects. You can get off opiates micro-dosing, but it won't be the most comfortable experience on the planet (although it will help with the worst of the withdrawal symptoms).
Ordering online is always a gamble, as you don't know the purity without it being lab tested. However, it is definitely more affordable this way.
Anti-nausea medication is not 100% safe with ibogaine. I would fast for 12-24 hours beforehand (the closer to 24 hours the better) and do a fruit fast the day before the actual fast. This will decrease the chances of incessant vomiting. Movement on ibogaine also induces vomiting. Laying on one's back, neck straight, staying still -- will help with nausea. I did not experience nausea or vomiting on ibogaine. It does not happen to everyone. Some people vomit, but do not feel acute nausea. Everyone is different. The Bwiti view the vomiting as the release of negativity and toxins.
A colon cleanse will greatly help nausea and negative side effects, the feeling of being uncomfortable, etc. on ibogaine. ESPECIALLY for opiate addicts. Most opiate addicts are constipated, if not impacted, and this is a terrible feeling on it's own, especially on top of the ibogaine. In fact, the symptoms of an impaction are similar to those of withdrawal.
The most important thing with ibogaine is to be safe! It is better to save money, wait, and go to someone who has years of experience than to risk treating yourself. This might not be an option for everyone, so in that case, do not do it totally alone. Have someone around who can check your pulse, a "sitter". Research. Do not mix the ibogaine with anything. Cease pharmaceutical use beforehand. Research. Stay safe. It is a beautiful and healing plant medicine. But not only should it be respected, for your own safety, you should eliminate as many x factors as possible.
I was treated with ibogaine for suboxone. I was also drinker, and amphetamine user. I ceased everything after ibogaine (nearly 5 years ago), I micro-dosed to quit nicotine. I am a big proponent of the therapy. It took me a year to get the money together (hard to save money when using). I am very grateful for the professional treatment I was given. There was a doctor and three nurses on staff. I was treated as an individual, not some routine "just take this dose and you are good" patient. As I was getting off suboxone and had to switch to a short acting opiate, I stayed at the clinic for an extended period of time (for the final part of my switch-over), I saw a lot of people come and go. As a result, I understand the seriousness of the medicine. Everyone, please be safe!!!
