You're looking at 10 females in early flowering stages, the smallest one closest to the cam is my only surviving (non male) topped plant. A lot of them are no over head height. Anyone care to estimate my total yield on all 10 ?

I honestly have no idea. Basing it on a minimum of 100g per medium sized plant if it is the correct season where you are. Could be as much as 200 to 400g if they are heavy yielders. Last season my friend pulled about 300g from one medium sized indica in a 50L container outdoors.

Good luck to you

Those plants really have come along. Next time would you consider topping or doing FIM or supercropping?

They're looking really lush, you've done a good job mate.

Any reccomendations for a complete grow tent system?

I am looking to start growing my own cannabis. I have grown successfully once before, an autoflower in my closet and I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a complete grow tent?

I know I should buy it piecemeal but right now I am walking and using public transportation so that is out of the question. I have seen a few promising ones but they all seem to lack carbon filters.

I am looking for something where all the prices fit together out of the box. I recall last time I grew people on OverGrow mentioned that some the carbon filters would not fit their grow tents. Considering my transportation situation I do not want the headache of ordering something then it arrives and does not fit.

I am not looking for a specific brand or advertisement. More like the vent on X tent fits Y fan which fits Z carbon filter.

Thanks for reading. I am so excited about growing again.

you mean like a mylar tent? for a scrubber to work you will need a sturdy grow cab that can support a vaccuum, a tent will just collapse from outside pressure. icmag has replaced OG nowadays as the best resource for ideas and pictorials on microgrow setups, it would be best to have an idea fully hashed-out before making decisions but ultimately you should be able to get all the supplies you need with a trip to home depot and an electronics supplier.

I think he means like a grow tent, they're heavy duty material, mylar lined & have a metal tube frame, they're designed for the job so they wont collapse. You might be able to get some supplies at 'Home Depot', but a specialist hydroponics shop will have better designed supplies & sell everything that you need except the plants. The kits I can see at my local hydroponics shop include a carbon filter, fan, tent, light, reflector, contactor, ballast - just need to get the hydro system, cf & ph meters, timer, plant food & plants.

yeah home depot is really just for purely DIY soil setups, i guess if transportation is an issue then it's probably easier/stealthier to bring home a DWC setup than bags of soil and perlite

Hi guys :)

Soon I will be expanding my living space, and I want to use one of the rooms - probably the bedroom - to grow plants. Not necessarily cannabis, but I do expect to include salvia which I am already growing, and coca / acacias / cacti. Also culinary herbs. I do wanna grow some weed but I am going to have to wait until I have another rent situation... so I'd like my choice to also be okay for weed if possible.

What I wonder is: on a very low budget, can any LED setup really compete with fluorescent tubes? Flowering cannabis may be kinda demanding, but isn't the same true for getting coca to flourish and salvia to proliferate?

LED seems more awesome to me, and I think the purple light may be less offensive to have around than the cold white light of fluorescents. I will have windows facing the east so in summer I should be fine anyway... but in the other seasons I obviously want them to grow decently.

It seems like you can hang LED between 8-32 inches above the plants, so say 2-3 bulbs of ~20W comprising like 12 integrated LEDs each good for a nice area I can grow all those plants in that I mentioned... is that a smart move?

Even easier to get a hydro system that works properly like NFT or aeroponics. You can buy a grow tent there with a carbon filter too, which is what Boupstarnm was asking about. Also, I think I'm a thousand miles away from a Home Depot, so transport could be an issue.

Solipsis HPS lamps are the competition, fluorescent tubes are worthless, I'm not sure if LED has got there yet & if you're on a budget then it's still HPS.

It's smashing it. Looks like some sativa?
Buds are about as developed as some indicas I've seen around the local area which is awesome. Will post some pics if I get a chance.

When did that beast germinate? Late spring?

It's a single plant birc0014

Just been using sheep shit mixed with water and fishermaultion through the veg stage. Now that it's started budding I've purchased some ag-row bloom.....also I've ordered Thai Ryder big bud auto flowering (20% thc) one of the strongest auto flowering plant should take about 90 day also purchased famtismo (not sure if I spelt that right) and they take about 70 days they will be going under a light and yes man that seed was germinated early-mid spring :)

Strains are Original Afghani 1 x Pakistan Chitral Kush (Strong Green Pheno), Pakistani Chitral Kush (Purple) x Aussie Bush Weed (No Name), Sri Lankan Sativa. In order of appearance.

What have you got there JS?
