Opioids how long should I wait to take tramadol?

So I've been on Wellbutrin xl 150mg's a day for the past six days. I've been wanting to take some tramadol so I stopped taking the wellbutrin about two and a half days ago. From what I understand Wellbutrin inibits cyp2d6, decreasing the effects of tramadol significantly. I was wondering how long I should wait until I take the tramadol? like I said I've only taken the wellbutrin for a little under a week. Any insight would be appreciated.
 
Your doctor should know or even pharmacist.

Are you taking tramadol for pain or trying to get a buzz? Keep in mind that tramadol is very difficult to quit if you get hooked to it. Some say harder to quit than oxycodone. It is also very expensive and not covered by most insurance plans
 
To get a buzz, I know it's addictive. But I can handle myself. I've been experimenting with the drug for a year and have yet to experience any withdrawal symptoms.
 
I've taken trams for years with no seizure most commonly in doses of 1500mg+ up to ~3000mg... I was recently prescribed welbutrin despite not really wanting it... I decided to try it anyway and with one single 150mg pill and 300mg of tramadol in two 150mg doses made me have a seizure... Thank God there were a couple. 25mg xanax or I would have 100%went to the hospital.... Wait at least one half life or at least 8 hours
 
Tramadol considered an at all desirable drug? It's really not, unless you just want to take something for no reason other than you're out of real drugs that actually get you high or, at least, stoned.

Are you taking Welbutrin for depression? If so, why go off it jist when the medication will start taking effect? You're a week in, one more is usually the two week mark for AD's to start working well.

As for Tramadol, there is a seizure risk mixing Tram and WB together. Is it really worth the "recreational" use for a few days?

You're simply wrong. Just because you probably lack the right enzymes doesn't mean everyone else do too... I can easily take 4to500mg of morphine and do 2to3 a week and still honestly love tramadol. You can't transcribe your experience onto everyone else's it doesn't work that way. Your experience is called anecdotal for a reason. Not empirical evidence. I believe the number is 30to40% of the US population is enzyme-deficient for the specific CYP enzyme involved in metabolizing tramadol. Tramadol IS a narcotic and a schedule 4 controlled substance, as it should have been from the beginning of introduction into the US market...

Your morphine tolerance is crazy high. You say you used upto 3000 mg of tramadol. I dont believe you. I know I accidentally took double the reccomended dose and I felt real good. But I was on klonopin so it blocks seizures. I wish Tramadol was allowed to be taken in higher doses than 300 mg daily at max. It destroys pain and lasts 24 hrs. IDK how long the high last cuz I fell asleep that time lol
