Hello this is my first post here, to start off I have only done what I think to be Methylone 4 times now. It has been over the period of this weekend, for the past 2 years I have only been a daily weed smoker, with the occasional use of Percocets, Xanax, Cocaine, and Adderrall.

I don't really know how to state my question without explaining the story first so please read!

This past Friday night I got off work and decided to grab some what I think to be methylone from my dude. I bought a .2 and ate it as soon as I got it around 8:30, after that I went to get some food. I sat down for a little got food, ate, while I was trying to find a ride to my good friends house and waiting for my roll to start. I was sitting at this food place for about 45 minutes and then it hit me, I felt amazing I had great euphoria, I was super happy, my vision was a bit laggy, and I was wide awake! I don't exactly remember how much longer I was at the food place for but I don't think it was longer than 20-30 minutes. Anyway my ride picked me up and in the car I felt pretty sober aside from when I talked I just rambled and music was fantastic. We were in the car for about 15 minutes till we got to my friends, when I got inside I sat straight down and me and my two other friends rolled a blunt and smoked (both have lots of experience with drugs, as well as daily weed smokers) I told them I was rolling and one of them asked if I could get more Molly/Methylone so she could roll too. I called my guy to come drop off some more. At this point I was still rolling but it wasn't as intense as it was when I was sitting at the food place. Then when my guy got there my friend bought .2 and I bought another one too. We both immediately ate them and I had the exact same great euphoric high I had earlier. We stayed up for a few hours happier than ever, and talked, and I rocked in a chair and babbled on. We smoked about 3-5 grams of weed throughout the time period and easily went to sleep afterward. I woke up the next morning feeling perfectly normal in the sense that I didn't feel fucked up from drugs I just felt like I stayed up all night, I then popped an adderrall and went on with my day as normal. Around 2 oclock that day my other really good friend hit me up asking if I could get molly for him and we ended up just rolling together. I again felt the same great euphoric happy high I did the first time, maybe even more this time than the last! We frequently smoked weed and I also could again easily go to bed that night. I woke up the next morning and had a pretty begginning of the day, I went into work at two and felt fine. Work got extremely slow and I ended up getting let off early. I had absolutely nothing to do so I decided to try get some more methylone from my buddy. This is where my question comes in. I got it around 6:30 and ate it right there, I went back to my house where I was alone and I waited for the effects to come on. I prepared myself and listened to my favorite music, I was drinking a lot of water too. It took about 45 minutes for me to feel anything but it wasn't strong at all. I wasn't extremely happy and didn't have a ton of euphoria. I just really enjoyed my music, drinking my water, and smoking cigarettes. I continued to wait and thought it would maybe kick in hard later because I hadn't really gotten those like butterly feelings in my stomach yet. About an hour past, nothing more, then an hour and a half and still nothing more. All I felt was a little funny when I walked and I really liked my music. Overall it just felt like I was plateaued the whole time. Why did this happen, and if I wait a week do you think I will have the original great euphoric effects I did the first time? I know you're supposed to space these types of drugs out alot, but I thought since I haven't done any like this I shouldn't gain a tolerance that fast. I also don't plan on doing it frequently like this, maybe once a month.

That sounds like tolerance. The effects MDMA-like drugs drop off really quickly with repeated use in a short time period. I would take at least a month off if I were you.

The problem with these types of things is not tolerance in the traditional sense I believe. Say when you take MDMA or Methylone your brain gets very depleted of neurotransmitters which take time to come back (it is less severe with methylone), this happens to the same extent whether it's your first time or 20th. After your 3 days of use your brain has probably just run out of enough energy to produce the high you felt initially. You need to take a break (a month or more) so your brain can recover, and avoid damaging the system that replenishes the transmitters in your brain that the drug works on, which is the cause of long term or permanent 'loss of magic' people report with these drugs I believe

You said wait a month or more for my brain to recover? Is it really damaged? I feel totally fine aside from the day after me feeling like I stayed up all night. I have a party to go to on Friday night, if I take a break until then do you think that I will have the same great euphoric feelings I had in the beginning? I am not too worried about spacing it out more than a month at a time because after this Friday, I am not doing it again till summer.

No its not damaged, but depleted of the chemicals the drug uses to create the high. When people really abuse these drugs (way more than you, don't worry), the brain gets less able to recover and the drugs 'lose their magic', and some people can get things like anxiety and depression. You have nothing to worry about you just need to let your brain 'regenerate' it's ability to let the drug have its full effect

Cool thanks! Your advice is much appreciated, do you think I'll get the magic back by friday? :D

I can't say it's a good idea, as this is a harm reduction forum. However, you may or may not get the feeling you want from it back by Friday if you were to do it, it really varies dramatically from person to person.

If you continue to use these kinds of drugs you really should limit it to once per month maximum though, even that frequency will catch up with most users. 3 months is considered adequate (these values are for MDMA though, methylone you can probably get away with a little more often). You should look up rollsafe.org too and consider testing what you buy with a DanceSafe kit if you want to make MDxx drugs a long term fixture of your drug use.

Not sure if your still checking this thread but methylone is not rolling and molly is supposed to be mdma. I suggest taking a 3 month break at the min and finding a new dealer.
Also try reading around this site and erowid.com before doing more drugs?? maybe buy a test kit because you obviously have no idea what your taking.
