i kind of want to try ketamine so i have been doing some research.
however, i have been reading a lot of people saying that ketamine often leads to heavy psychological addiction.
the problem is that i am very dependent on marijuana psychologically
so if i am that mentally vulnerable, as to be hooked on weed, then i would not stand a chance against ketamine addiction, right?
would it be a bad idea for me to try it?

Ketmina can be very addictive, especially for peope who enjoy both opiates and psychedelics. If you're psychologically dependant on mmj then yes, ketamine could be a real problem for you.

It can be pretty addictive. Out of hundreds of people I've known to take ketamine I've probably known about ten-fifteen to have addictions.

It didn't interfere with their lives too much but was definitely an issue. It took a few years or irregular party style use for them to form the addiction.

This was in a country whereby ketamine up until recently was so abundant (and cheap) that it was available in pretty much every major city and probably most towns. If you listened to electronic music you could probably get it.

Weed's the only drug that has given me addiction issues... None of the other substances I have played around with have been that difficult for me to control in terms of use. So just because you are vulnerable to cannabis addiction doesn't mean you will be for ketamine.

If you have reasons to be escapist and/or have a tendency to become sort of obsessed with the K mindspace then it can have a pretty real addictive potential for you.

As with most things, if you are able to just have some discipline and keep it as something special for occasional use, it should be okay.

Don't go getting addicted to ketamine. It can shred up your bladder and urinary tract.

I must admit i have the same problem, did use almost every drug, some even like mxe for more than 2year daily, as amphetamine, could stop them both without much problem but i must admit weed is really my DOC and main addiction.. weirdo but well i can see all the factor, who can make it like this , like been in mym ind since im kid that it a soft drug no worry, its easy to find, accepted mostly by society, even though most of the girls i would like/ feel attract to its reallynot a positive things, anyways for ketamine, i'll just say there is much more interesting dissos but its good if u not much experienced to try with ket and start little, learn the products, as much for addiction, u'll get addicted like any other substance, but its not fiendish as opiates for sure. so be careful and see what can bring u ketamine in your life, maybe make some research on ndma antagonist, and dissoc in general is a good start. Regards

not if you treat it as the hallucinogen that it is.

for some reason people get addicted to dissociatives.

they are hallucinogens and should be treated as such.

you wouldn't go taking shrooms everyday?

a guy i buy weed from has spent over £800 on ketamine since new year, it definitely can be very habit-forming if you're using it in the wrong mindset

oh boy...
after reading all the comments, i have decided that i should stay away from k for now
i just cant afford to form another bad habit along with cannabis right now
that would affect my life style majorly

Ethanol (still drink) Weed (since quit) and MXE (cutting way back) have been the most "habit forming" drugs that I have done, mostly because you can use a lot without too many social stigmas or a huge burden on your life. Peer pressure and social acceptance have a lot to do with my past ab/use of the above substances.

I have dabbled in opiates (quit) kratom (never used much, quit) benzos (light use, recently quit) psychs (rarely use) mdma (plan on only taking 2-5 more times in my life).

About 5-10% of the population are vulnerable to addiction. If you're one of those then you'll likely get hooked on anything. If you arn't one of them, like me, you can get through a kilo of ketamine in 6 months and then never touch it again for 12 years.

It is for some, not so much for others. I personally don't find it addictive, I only want to use it every so often. I can see the pull though because it's great for escapism if you use it for such. It seems that some people really have a propensity for addiction to dissociatives.

it can be. i have a bunch of friends that don't pee right anymore.

Yeah, ketamine/dissociative addiction was much more common than you might think OP.

I personally believe it has a huge abuse potential and also physical withdrawal if you have enough to take daily over an extended period of time. It really is psychedelic smack, and if you're into that kind of thing I would be cautious for sure.

Ketamine was actually an addiction I struggled with 4 or 5 years ago and I'm really lucky I don't have serious bladder problems, though it might have done some minor damage.

I also kind of think part of the problem is a lot of people think ketamine is harmless, which leads them to use more casually than they would with a normally addictive substance.

If you're having problems with weed, ketamine isn't going to be easier, but I don't think trying it out would be too risky as long as you don't have a steady connection for it. Either way, please be diligent.

hey ! i've just taken some mcat . i herd how horny you can get on it and wanted to experiment. Has anybody tried this before ?

It depends on the individual.
Personally speaking: as much as I love MXE, I actually find psychedelic drugs to be a lot more compulsive - if tolerance wasn't a factor I'd be munching them every fucking day. MXE can be extremely euphoric (almost as much as LSD sometimes) but it gets boring if I do it more than once a week.
