I found this playlist which is well suited to listen to while nodding on opiates.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW93CV6m-JU&list=PLWGH9nKTQz5-6w_E11G57XboQ1mnYLbZs

If anyone has any suggestions please do not hesitate to list them, however please consider the following criteria for my personal nodding songs:
  • Must be slow
  • Must be calming
  • Must be dreamy
  • Must be creamy
  • Creamy dream team let's rock this ship down to nodding town
  • Excuse me?

Classical songs, sad songs, psychedelic songs are usually pretty good. Please tell me of any slow classical songs you know of <3

Please have a listen next time you get your nod on, don't forget to leave feedback :)

Lemon jelly, specifically lemonjelly.ky and lost horizons (my avatar). 64-95 is boss too but not as good for nodding

Generally I don't listen to rap music whilst under the influence of opiates, but this track seems to be nice and slow so I will give it a try :) Thanks.

Likewise for techno music but if the techno is slow enough I don't see why it I can't try it out :). This lemon jelly definitely needs further investigation, thanks for the suggestion !!

i've found psydub to harmonise very well with opiates. try ott or globular.

I noticed some Pink Floyd in there which is what I was going to suggest, but none of the songs I was thinking of are on there. The ones I was thinking of are "Time", "Wish You Were Here", and of course "Comfortably Numb"

Also "Needle in the Hay" by Elliot Smith

Needle in the hay is pretty awesome haha :D Added to the playlist!

The three Floyd suggestions are also very good, I will give them a listen next time too (Y)

i always will play me some velvet underground/lou reed, mac demarco is pretty chill, nirvana, even some louie armstrong, and a couple specific songs that are more than on point:

perfect day by lou reed (its about a day/ love affair with heroin)
my kind of woman- mac demarco
slow cheetah- red hot chili peps
wild horses- rolling stones
age of consent- new order
vie en rose- louie armstrong
lake of fire- nirvana

just a few of my go to's

Hey guys, love posts like this...but ironically I don't even enjoy music that much when i'm nodding, it's the silence that I enjoy. But sometimes I can tune in and enjoy it so i'll share with you some of my all-time favorite mixes of various genres...

* indicates single song (not mix)

*Downtempo - Nina Simone - Feelin' Good (Joe Clausell remix) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsAx8jPB09U

*Dub/Chill-Out - Thievery Corporation - Reign Dub https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAPRq2a4r9o

Experimental/Broken Beat - Ras G - Live From SpaceBase vol 1. https://soundcloud.com/ras_g/live-from-spacebase-vol-1

Dub Reggae - King of Dub: Mad Professor https://soundcloud.com/jghii/king-of-dub-mad-professor

Funk/Abstract - Theo Parrish Live in Japan https://soundcloud.com/ochikura/theo...ub-09-kawasaki

Classic/Psychedelic Rock - Grateful Dead - Eyes of the world live in Fresno 07-19-1974 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsNnPLNLCcY

Rap/Hip-Hop - Bun B - Trill O.G (Chopped & Screwed) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGdZNtCrW6Y

Bass/Trap/808
- Th7 Immortxlz: Seven7sev7nmix https://soundcloud.com/theimmortalz/th7-immortxlz-seven7sev7nmix

What a versatile, multi-genre playlist Supeudol_Sundays! I like that!

And that's just an awesome playlist Sweetjaaaane!!

And, being reminded by the above ^^^ I'd have to say this song - which works well for this:
Sweet Jane by Cowboy Junkies
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4XVJj4jER4

And a personal favorite. This one takes my mind on quite a journey - in many ways - through an almost angelic light, but through the dark sometimes, too. I will, I've had friends tell me it rather "creeped them out" in an uncomfortable way when hearing it for the first time while nodding
Lotus Eaters by Wendy Rule
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBKoyB-qZLo

not to mention the classic nodding song ;)
She Talks To Angels by Black Crows
