Violent femmes, now there's a band I haven't heard in a while.

The car music ban was more down to the fact that our twins at the age of 5 sat at school and continually sang certain lyrics from this.

This remind me of my parents household. Once my Dad puts David Alexander on the glares are out as the singer does his magic on instantly putting us into severe depression as he drones on bread. Altogether now ooooOOoooOooo...., STOP enough!!!! Hahaha I swear my mam will take a hammer to that CD one day, cheered on by the whole family. Hah!

I once lived a couple doors down from (one of) the bass players from Hawkwind. Then again, I suspect everybody has given the overall proportion of the population that have been in Hawkwind for at least a while.

And as for car music situations, as noted, could always be worse...

I could continue for quite some considerable time but perhaps best to just point any with an interest to The Bridge: A Neil Young Tribute. And then weep slightly that vinyl copies apparently now go for £300+ whilst I sold my mint copy for considerably less than a fiver during The Great Culling :!
