Hi. I figured thats the most interesting/relevant part of me, and should open up with that.

Other than this, I am a sociologist, civil rights activist, drug/prison/education reformer, and in transition to continue my education is East-West/Transpersonal psychology, on the path to become a therapist.

Not much else of note. Been following MAPS, its affiliates, its important speakers, writers, scientists, contributors for a very long time, and continue to volunteer to help such organizations as much as I can, and I attend and volunteer at local festivals to provide clean-up assistance and provide support for those having difficult psychedelic experiences... not professionally, of course. Just candidly, as a nice friend/stranger (guess it depends on the circumstances in which we meet) or, just as a buddy in an already-good experience. I am a knowledge sponge, and am just waiting for the manifestation of a path that I can join to take me further into a professional field where my expertise/obsessions can provide useful in regards to healing others who seek healing.

That is all. Obligatory new intro post.

See yall around :)

Hey there,

How many participants are taking part in this study? I really hope studies like this will lead to the legalization and therapeutic use of MDMA. It has a lot of potential, imo...

It was used therapeutically in the past.

I hope that it is put to good use again one day.

I do believe in proper settings it would be excellent for family counseling, ptsd, and marraige counseling amount other things.

I think MDMA brought me out of my shell socially when I was a teenager. After taking it I felt much more comfortable talking and interacting with people. The changes it made lasted well beyond the dosage obviously which I do believe would be the point of thearaputic use. The changes were permanent for the better.

I think that if it was made legal and used in proper settings people would have even better results. It has been ten years at least since I have taken MDMA but I still remember how it helped with my difficulty in social situations. I became far more outgoing after being able to feel comfortable with myself.

Anyways best of luck with your research and career and hopefully you can help as many people as possible. Therapists can be very helpful or absolutely useless.

Although I do agree about legalization, I find it difficult to happen with MDMA. Maybe if they develop a cleaner pill, not so cut, less dangerous to your heart, etc.

wow! i really enoyed hearing this! i wanted to get into that study but i wasn't in the area. if you see her tell alicia s107/alex/william (my name is complicated; i go by my middle name but i think i gave her my legal one) said hi! lol we talked for a little bit and my number was s107 which is to show that other people from other states are interested as well. i plan upon following maps each week or so to keep up on their stuff! i hope to eventually work for them or to be an MDMA therapist. maybe if i do become an MDMA therapist you and i will see each other sometimes :)

i wish you luck in your career field; MDMA therapy is right around the corner: if all goes as planned MDMA therapy should be legal in 2021 according to an email from maps i recieved

(edit) hey here's some personal information about me if you're interested http://www.bluelight.org/vb/threads/747636-hello-everyone!-from-missouri
