Hello Bluelight!

Swim has a question for you guys, and that is if whippets will cause the same damage as other inhalants (i.e sudden death syndrome or brain damage etc)

Now swim would like some reasoning in why or why not they are safer than say paint thinner, swim always believed if you buy the actual whippets rather than the regular whip cream then there would be less chemicals in it than regular whip cream or something like paint thinner.

Also if anyone has any harm reduction advice they'd like to share with swim, then please comment that below.

Thanks for your time.;)

In regards to paint thinner: "Our understanding of the literature is that there is no such thing as safe use of most volatile solvents, aerosols or other street inhalants : their psychoactive effects may be inseparable from nerve and organ damage." That coming from a site like Erowid says a lot.

Most damage you'll get playing with nitrous is from overuse and abuse or just being a moron. Food grade is okay, medical grade is better. Auto grade will probably kill you.
If you abuse the hell out of nitrous it prohibits the production of myelin, which coats your nerves and helps them send signals. This can eventually lead to nerve damage and possibly paralysis, if I remember correctly.

Solvents are horrible recreational substances. They have been replaced by other drugs in the medical field for a reason.

Closed. Feel free to post in Other Drugs, using the 1st person.
