Nah, I keep saying it ISN'T hidden, despite me not opting in.

I think there's a thread in support which explains how the idea has been scrapped for now when the implementation broke a load of other stuff?
 
whats all this talk about the lounge not being available? are we talking about the subforum here on bluelight? cuz if that, its never been inaccesible to me...

just curious, as ive seen bearlove been rather upset with the atitudes there

This keyboard is GIANT for my wee fingers 8(

Replied with a tip for drying electronics which might or might not work :)

Is a code monkey someone like myself who pretends to know about programming by making smartass comments like the one above when really they can't code anything more than painfully simple python scripts?

"Wash it with the cleanest water you can and then put it in a bag with rice for a day or two (unless it's a laptop, maybe don't wash a laptop - if it's a laptop, remove the hard drive quick!). Dried on wine might be shorting the microswitches"

(actually the best thing to wash it with would be a non-polar solvent)

Apparently the whole key board is soaked.

Aye my youngest slags himself off as as a poor code monkey = I've not a clue but get fed up of subsidising him. Last I knew he was on apps and then energy companies software.

Is that what you do?

Think I'm going to have to buy a new keyboard :( Damn I was looking forward to trolling the lounge.

Haha no, he sounds like a proper programmer. My actual job title is "environment artist", I do 3D models and textures for computer game levels. I only know a little bit of the principles of coding (objects, loops, conditional statements etc) because the software I use (usually 3D Studio Max, my current job sadly requires me to use Maya instead) allows me to write scripts to automate some of the more tedious repetitive tasks with an inbuilt scripting language.
 
Theres a girl in the audience on Question time with hair a really vibrant metallic blue...it looks the business..

I'd like mine like that but it might be a bit mutton dressed up as lamb......oh sod it, who cares...i'll be metallic blue mutton.

Rather a random post - there has been a lot of talk lately about the lounge / shrine.

I'll NSFW the following as I am going to be talking about the deaths of members.

There has been a few comments posted (mainly by One Thousand Words) about how 'The Shrine' and 'EADD' should be just as embarrassing as 'The Lounge'. That is a topic for further discussion - but, when you look at a certain thread you will see the deceased member still showing as 'crew'. For example - the RIP 'Evad' thread still shows 'mugs' and 'cornishman' as crew. Do we not have another title ?
