Wow you really are optimistic! If we hadn't just had the referendum I might beinclined to agree, I would be surprised if that didn't set you back a long time though.
We are living in optimistic times. The Guardian graphic you posted up thread (and which I posted elsewhere too) is proof of that.
Anyone thinking that the referendum of 2014 was the end of it "for a generation" is absolutely deluded. Come the GE we're gonna have a much louder voice in Westminster than before, so it's not a matter of whether we'll have another referendum or not, it'll be a matter of how soon. If there isn't another one within 5-10 years (especially if SNP are working in coalition with Labour), I'll be very surprised (and disappointed).
Labour will be paid in full for their siding with the Tories on the issue. It'll be in their best interests to play along and work for independence next time, so instead of being wiped out again, they might have a chance to rebuild something in Scotland.
