Ridiculous new year, spent it in the lowliest bar you can imagine with some guy talking to me for about 2 hours about some altercation we had years back - was threatening and speaking down to me constantly - but hey, it gave me someone to talk to and save me from standing alone trying to make friends in a pub where I didn't really know anyone else.

Eventually I got away from him and some girl said to me "You're the Christian one who thinks homosexuals should burn and go to hell forever!", (Nice to know im gossiped about frequently behind my back) I seized the opportunity for a wind-up and said "Well, yeah, that's me"... It was quite funny watching her go off on one, telling me how they are individuals and equal etc while I was saying "No they should burn in hell forever!" That was the highlight of my NYE before a 2 hour drunken run from town to home, save spending £30 on a taxi.
