Hi Bluelight forum people, thanks for having me on here.

My name is Luke Williams, I am a journalist writing a book for Scribe Publications about crystal meth. I am looking for people to share their fascinating meth tales with me. I can use a fake name and change details if anonymity is important to you.

The book is based off my article in Sat Paper - http://www.thesaturdaypaper.com.au/...e-crystal-meth-addict/1406901600#.U9w1XfmSxqU

Basically, I want to talk to you if you have an interesting experience with meth, but in particular I want to talk with people who:

- Have seen meth made first hand or been involved in the production of it.
- Have descended into meth psychosis or extreme paranoia or engaged in odd, compulsive behaviors.
- Had bouts of wild sex or masturbation.
- Had experiences which, even in retrospect, where actually fun and added something good to your life in the long term.
- Became involved in crime.
- Developed an addiction and recovered from it.
- Were under the age of 15 when they first started using meth.

My email is [email protected]

I would really love to hear from you - I find people's meth experiences are more interesting that they think, so please contact me and I can use fake names if I publish the story in the book.

Thanks again.

Luke Williams

Isn't that intentionally going out of the way to emphasize certain aspects of the drug's effects and it's role in society and de-emphasizing others? Certainly doesn't sound like you're going for a neutral and balanced portrayal of meth, meth users and meth culture.

It sounds fair and balanced, like Fox news!

Obviously it must be too boring to write about an average guy with an education, decent job and a mortgage that happens to have a bit of meth a few weekends a year.

Oh I remember reading that article. Yeah I'm not inclined to support this feller's ambition. The meth horror story has already been well and truly written. I'd be much more interested in supporting a more accurate portrayal from a pragmatic harm reduction perspective.

Jesus - that article was awful (just finished reading). I don't think you should write a book, mate.
