What Are You Drinking? v. The Milk Of Human Kindness

Gin and elderflower tonic is sooooo lovely..hic.

Please go easy on your Ma SS <3..mine is an alcoholic who was once the most beautiful and caring and wonderful Mother but things happen..people break..she is human.. has barely been in my life for 20 odd years. I would do anything to have one that cared and was in my life telling me off..I personally think from what you said your Ma's reaction was actually pretty calm..I remember dropping an aspirin in 1990 and my Dad picking it up and threatening to call the police, have it and me analysed..as he thought it was an E...few years later we did cocaine together (once! once was enough).

What parent wouldn't freak out a surprising amount after finding what she found in your room lol. Wether they've done a bit of stuff or not. I'd go ape shit if i found needles stashed away in my childs room. I dont know any parent that wouldnt

I should have said anything other than that tbh, I don't think I would have freaked out as much as she did though without getting an explanation first. It is possibly worth pointing out that they were unopened needles but yeah :P Should have been more specific. I do get it, but she is prone to massive overreactions as it is so it was possibly more extreme than most people's would have been. As much as I love her and appreciate that she cares (about some things :P) I could never live with her for an extended period of time anymore, haven't for 3 years and would probably go mad if I did.

ON TOPIC: I am on the err... red flavoured squash now. Party time.

Hydration is key <3

love and truth and honesty are the answer =D

...and everything worth having in life are worth fighting and waiting for.

yep............................more gin......................

No going steady or cooking here.

Left hand: Jameson Select Reserve

Right hand: Harrogate sparkling water / Purdey's / coffee

Occasionally both hands need to be engaged in tooting. I'll pass out by early afternoon I reckon.

I can remember having a few drinks yesterday afternoon - woke up this morning not knowing what had happened. Apartment looked like it had been burgled, sink full of dishes, wok, chopping board out etc

Looked at BF (to gauge how bad I was) and he just laughed. I'm not sure how much of the story he made up (to fuck with me) but if half of it is true :o (naked roof top shenanigans), apparently he got me down from the roof, made me cook (some random stir fry) before I finally went to sleep. (Were a bit on egg shells atm as I sort of attacked him the other night (he was doing the usual scare thing when I'm asleep ) - I doubt he will ever do it again though).

*Edit* have a great day Sammy G

Hugs bear

Moar booze.
Ciders, lagers, whiskeys, Scotches, Vodkas, but a single brand of Gin...

Does the old adage of 'beer before liquor, never sicker' apply if you alternate repeatedly? =D

How you holding up there sprout..I am still going..ughhhh

Sancerre...with intermittent pints of weak Ribena..not caned the booze like this for time.

I'm holding up with my first opiate free Christmas in... 7 years?
Quite proud, actually. Binned 350mg of pure 6-MAM earlier - wouldn't have ended too nicely/safely if I repeated last night's escapades.

Hope you've had a lovely day.

Emptied my PM box if you want to chat. <3

We are drinking and Mr Inflo has made a recovery and is on the merlot..we are listening to hideous cds from the 90s and laughing our heads off..otherwise would for sure..you take care ..well done on opi freedom <3

I'm not supposed to drink on the meds I am currently taking but being as it was Christmas yesterday, I had a sneaky half glass of Prosecco whilst opening presents & then had a glass of some expensive port after dinner later on. God I have missed alcohol... will be a while again before I have any though.

Actually lies, I think we have some champagne for New Years... like fuck I am missing out on that. :D

Love hate relationship with alcohol one of my biggest fears is to become my chronically alcoholic estranged Mother..probably hypocritical with other usage but..and day 3 awake and umm baileys for breakfast.

So Chatative what champers will you be opting for? My family are spread now all over Europe many now residents in Italy, Spain and France. Veuve Clique would be my choice and I have tried most many champagnes (Cristal imo totally over rated), I can't stand the majority of even decent Cava's as they seem so acidic and imminent indigestion giving - almost always follows.

For me decent Prosecco wins out and is preferable..and a glass or so even on your meds should be fine as special one off.

Umm nothing fancy, Comtesse del Bellefleur Grand Reserve Brut. Will be nice all the same though I'm sure.

I had Veuve Clique, the better part of a bottle to myself, on my graduation though. That was indeed nice. I got a free mini-bottle at a restaurant I went to that day along with my friend opening one he had. :)

Yeah you are right, a one off does no harm. A little Prosecco had not much effect other than making me tipsy then a little tired... however beer is a no-no because it makes me very tired after like half a bottle.

3 days awake? Sounds like you started your festivities a little early eh? ;) <3
