9mgs klonopin an nothing

I took nine mgs klonopin- nothing I alittle relaxed but definitely not dazed and confused. Keep in mind I have been using Xanax at 4mgs twice a week the two weeks preceeding this. Is there any reason why the effects of this drug are not as pronounced? I know .25mg klonopin is = to .5 mg Xanax so I took 9 mgs that should be 9mgs Xanax. Is there a reason I am not feeling it as intensely? Is it because of the half life- or is this because of tolerance?
 
Xanax hits hard compared to almost all other Benzo's! That's probably why your feeling so underwhelmed with the Clonazeam because it come on slowly and gently and then lasts a long time.

I used to swear that K PINS were just a placebo drug due to the fact that I cold eat 20 mg or more in one go and not feel a thing!

IMO/IME Clonazepam is the least recreational Benzo I've tried out of around 20 different Benzo's (Yeah, I used t be a Benzo fiend) I also think you got the equivalancy slightly wrong. I'm sure Clonazepam and Alprazolam are both equal potenty even though they feel like they work differently.

I wrote a big long reply and then I lost it. :(

Anyway, Clonazepam seems to be a very popular Benzo is the U.S.A. Whether for medicinal or recreational purposes. To my great suprise :o Personally speaking I think myself at times that they have absolutely no active properties contained in the tab. I've tried a fair few different brands/types/shapes/flavours over the Years (The majority have been minty, with one brand Banana flavoured, called 'Clonotril' :D

Mostly here it was 0.5 mg & 2 mg Roche (Rivotril or Klonopin) Either in small bottles with a child safety cap' on. Or in blister packs each containing x10 tab.

Anyway IME/IMO Clonazepam is a placebo Benzo which has no active ingredient. Before I had any Benzo tolerance I could easily gobble down 10, 20, 30, even 40 mg! All in one dose, literally as many as I could possibly fit into my mouth. But they would do absolutely nothing to me. (Please bare in mind I've suffered with crippling Anxiety
(And Depression) since 1997. When I was 17/18 Years of age.

I didn't take my very first Benzo until I was 29 Years old.
 
Klonopin is difinately real though.

You might have some tolerance to benzodiazepines. I remember when I used to take 0.5mg klonopin almost every day and sometimes 1mg. I was pretty relaxed. Then again, I had like no tolerance at the time. One time I've taken like 2mg or something and it was really relaxing. I rarely take benzodiazepines anymore. Infact, I've rarely take any meds anymore either and I might actually be overdue to get my prescription for the 20mg celexa, 25mg hydroxyzine and 0.5mg klonopin. It's like I rarely need them anymore. I might still need the celexa and hydroxyzine, but feel like I don't need it much. I also don't care much for the klonopin anymore either actually. Now I probably need to take a break from the prolintane due to disturbances in sleep patterns. Prolintane feels a lot like a nootropic though. I need to probably make a schedule or something to not miss deadlines.
 
I used to take clonazepam and a little diazepam (for both recreational and anxiety purposes).
clonazepam is not really a recreational drug. At times it felt as if it had done nothing (when taken recreationally. It worked very well for anxiety).
Usually I'd look back on those instances when completely benzo-sober and realise I was just unaware of the effects at the time.
benzos are weird drugs to deal with and they're not worth it unless taken for anxiety or seldom.


btw, clonazepam itself tasted minty (and really it's the best tasing pill I've ever tasted), as opposed to anything added by the manufacturer.

u didnt get tired after taking 20 klonopins?!?!i agree though, klonopi has zero recreational value but its great at reducing anxiety..its such a subtle feeling u barely feel it working tbh..

When one's anxiety is high enough and intractable enough, one will find the removal of anxiety, or anxiolysis, more intoxicating and addictive than any other imaginable sensation. If I were given the choice between a harem and unlimited pussy, a billion dollars, or infinite clonazepam, I'd be a perpetually sedated poor virgin.
 
Before i had a benzo tolerance from being on 6mg's of clonazepam a day since about 2007 i could easily feel 1mg of clonazepam. Benzos are very subjective as everyone has their own fav with mine being Temazepam. Lorazepam for some reason even when i had no benzo tolerance never had any real effect on me. I took 10mg's once with no tolerance really and i felt nothing. Id take 40mg's of Valium anyday over say 10mg's of lorazepam. As far as Xanax goes it's my least fav benzo and just makes me cranky if anything.
 
Clonazepam tears me up, after even 2 mgs my memories start to get a little hazy. Supposedly (according to a neuroscience textbook I own) it's affinity for central benzodiazepine receptors is rivalled only by midazolam and triazolam.
 
Well it definitely wasn't placebo. I ended up blacking out (stupid me.) let me also say that since that night I haven't taken any more benzos. Not because of fear or that I blacked out. It's just I'm not a huge fan of benzo's. I used to love them. Just don't prefer them anymore. Give me some high quality black tar lol. Thank you all for the input
