Is it not the same thing as when you 'must' haggle on holiday - it's not really about the money its just for the sake of it. Its sort of funny because its so tragic - if your getting 100£ OFF a tv then you can afford the extra 100 quid and save yourself the ball ache / petrol / transport costs etc. IF 100£ discount is so attractive - stop buying shit like TV's and put the money to some actual use?
 
totally. It is a horrible manifestation of consumerist mindset. The sensible thing to do, if you really need a fucking tv, is to wait until january and get it even cheaper.

I don't like christmas, drives me mad.
 
Doesnt everyone just run around like an idiot on Christmas Eve buying thoughtless presents because as per usual youve left it to late??

We don't 'do' Christmas, we don't get presents or a tree or decorations n shit like that. I do send cards / presents to those that appreciate it but for us its just another day. Whats funny though is I love a 'Christmas day' Dinner :D (photos in previous threads).

Its nothing special (actually easier than our day to day food) but because its December 25 it feels different :D

Good afternoon everyone.

I'm feeling a bit less than fabulous, had one of the roughest sleeps I've ever had last night. Think I was on the verge of sleep paralysis or something, could only just manage to force myself awake properly, was very odd. Never had anything like it before as far as I can remember.

Then after that I was too scared to go back to sleep for a bit, then I had some very vivid nightmares, then when it was time to get up I could barely get out of bed I was so exhausted.

That's what I get for laying off the drugs, fucking hell. I thought you were meant to sleep better after not caining stims, no? Apparently not.

Hey good afternoon <3 Yeah sounds like sleep paralysis, did i said i had sleep paralysis when i was at yours? Just sprang to mind as i read that, i remember being unable to move, was almost like a gasping for air feeling, odd
 
Oh, sleep paralysis is horrible. I have it almost every time I sleep during the day. At least that got me to stop napping.

How is everyone? I saw a psych nurse. It dragged by.
